Old news I'm sure. But I see we lost out on a five star OL to Georgia Tech. Prospect was a long term Vol fan (as was his dad) but apparently, GT gave him more money? That seems very odd to me that GT won out over us, Ohio State, Florida State, and Georgia. Did we basically take a pass hoping to land David Sanders?

Petty wanted to play OT. We thought he was more of an OG. Many other schools saw him as an OG. Ga Tech will let him play OT

I was just talking in general…. I think this staff has done a great job. I also think the safety situation will work out. It’s really just one spot and I think Will Brooks could end up being good. The staff is responsible for every area of the team. Here is an example of a Lady Vols off season workout..

I hope CKC can get rid of the sloppy passing and handling. Go so tired of watching guards just drive and throw up a prayer or a pass 5 feet wide of the target.

BTW: there's nothing left wing vs. right wing in this discussion. This is a law & order, freedom & sovereignty issue that effects everyone who earns less than a billion dollars/year.

Listened to a guy talk about Private Equity getting involved. Basically watch out
They will invest tons of money BUT they want profits on that invest. Think of it like this if they pony up $100,000,000 they want be looking a $1,000,000 profit more like $20-30,000,000 dollars.
I’m thankful Tennessee is not facing that choice

Related, I was reading a story where a Private Equity Firm bought out a trailer park. Rents for lots at the time were $540/mo. The firm said nothing would change. A few months later, rents were over $1,000/month. The one interviewed retiree had to give his mobile home back to the bank and move in with his daughter. Oh, and what's happened in the medical world is disgusting.

A few months later, rents were over $1,000/month. The one interviewed retiree had to give his mobile home back to the bank and move in with his daughter. Oh, and what's happened in the medical world is disgusting.

PE is absolutely exploding into every arena of life. Much of it I could care less about...car washes...even college sports, whatever.

But what they're attempting in real estate is absolutely terrifying and everyone should be wary of. Shadow monopoly grab...
