I think you are forgetting the win over that U-12 CYO team. Also that same team really put it on NIU a couple of weeks after they beat Nuetre Lame.Just curious. Does anyone know what ND’s quality win is supposed to be? I don’t see any ranked teams on their schedule. We know losing to NIU at home is far worse thane losing to Arky on the road. It may be the loss of the year. They would need at least one quality win to be in the top 10, no? I never realized ND only played 3 road games.
Their o-line is hurting but they are stout. But I like the matchup, like they say defense travels.Hey...you said it, I didn't.
OSU does not suck...they are crammed full of NFL talent all over the field..especially on defense.
Our hopes are pinned on Day doing something dumb and their OL falling completely apart against our front 7.
If those two things happen and our offense finally gets executed at a high level...them having a great defense, probably better than ours when you break it down player by player, makes our offense doing that for the first time on the road an unlikely prospect...but if that near miracle actually happens...
We could win.
Their is nothing wrong with being realistic, and the real truth is...this is a really tough row to hoe.
You are correct McGill but as far as match up we do match up better with them than some of the other top teams. Having a weak OL is a problem against our DL. They also lost their center before the Michigan game for the season. That’s probably the main reason they lost. Sort of like us without Cooper. It’s definitely a huge challenge on the road but I think it’s doable. Get up early and their crowd could get pretty toxic. We will definitely have to be on and not get rattled by the atmosphere. I do like that we have a break and plenty of time to prepare as I think we have a slight coaching advantage. It’s a great opportunity to announce to the world that we are back.Their main weakness is the OL and their HC....they are loaded everywhere else. Howard is not great so far, but he is talented.
Nobody ever takes us lightly...teams spend an inordinate amount of time just preparing to play us...sometimes at the expense of their play against other teams.that explains a lot. bet arkansas did the same.
georgia hasn't played that well against anyone else in several games. we have to figure out how to pressure this bg10 opponent.
Even if his injury is minor it is definitely affect his play, there is no doubt about that. I say even if it is a very minor sprain he'll be lucky to be 80%. I still think it was minor because of the way they were handling it. They iced it for a little while and that was it.If it’s only strained, it’s possible. Even if there is only a slight tear, they will still perform surgery. As far as handing the ball off, there was no pain doing that for me, at all. The most pain I had was when I actually threw the ball, and even more so when I threw a baseball from an elevated mound.
YESSSS. The past 20 years in this conference have been amazing. I love having a rival within 45 minutes of our conference headquarters, have "legitimately" signed top 3 recruiting classes annually, and the my absolute favorite part...... have multiple alumni referees, across all sports. Totally worth it.I never want them to leave. I love beating them too much.
