I actually like the two staffs idea. Have a whole recruiting staff run by a sitting college GM would be awesome, imo.

Does NCAA rules allow this? I thought the coaching staff was the only people who can recruit on the trail?

Why do you believe those numbers anyway? It’s just a guess. You think Oregon is down the list and UK is higher than us?

The damned truth is that the only teams that deserve to be in the playoffs are Organ, Blowhio St, TU, Georgia, Tennessee, and Clemson as the winner of the best of the lame conferences. The rest of the field are cannon fodder.

Georgia has no worries with or without Beck. They will destroy that side of the bracket, they are the only good team on that side. They will lose to the Vols in the finals.

NCAA doesn’t specifically require it to be the on field coaches that can go out and recruit.
Teams just have to designate who. In the past when before ESD existed it wouldn’t be uncommon for position coaches to leave and if they didn’t have a replacement someone random (GA, Stength coach, even AD) on the staff would get designated as on off campus recruiter.

Kinda pisses me off after what we’ve been told

No offense, but this is misinformed. Not being on this list is the greatest thing ever. We absolutely have more than most, and they don't even have a scope on us. Us, OR, TX, and OSU all are in tier 1. Teams like Bama and UGA lost their discount coupons they used to lean on with NFL pipeline, and have had to fundraise. Now we may not be biggest in BBall where teams like BYU are dumping 7 mil on a player, but globally and holistically across athletics everyone knows we are in the elite group.

Lanier is the go to scorer when a bucket is needed most definitely. Igor is mister do everything, a stretch 4 that makes a big difference for this years team compared to last season.

Igor last night 16/9/2 I will take those numbers every game.

He changes the whole complexion of the team and unlocks a lot. Lanier also plays better defense than Knecht. Both are elite.
