If College Football goes that way, along with its current trajectory of everything being predetermined according to ESPN's bidding, along with helter skelter playoff choices predicated on politics - I'm absolutely done.

Cannot handle the NFL, NBA, or even pro Baseball.

Watching last night's bball game, it occured to me. Game was called much like a pro game, in fact I think crew calls pro games.

The banter is always about Thanksgiving turkeys, this player did that in 1968, talking about tourney in five months. Occasionaly they would interrupt their own off topic banter to oogle over a 3 pointer or jam.

Point is, it is no longer about the sport. It becomes about entertainment. The commentators are so bored with the product, they talk about stupid crap.

NCAA couldve done something by getting front of this. People couldve intervened. instead here we are...

It’s definitely a long way from what most of us grew up with and why we fell in love with college sports. I don’t think what is happening is sustainable and in the long run doesn’t favor a school like Tennessee. We simply don’t have the resources of a lot of the much larger universities. We got out in front of it and got a good start which might benefit us for a few years but long term there are many more universities that we simply can’t compete with in terms of money, alumni, etc. I’m afraid it turns into just a few wealthy teams buy all the talent like MLB. We will just have to see where it goes but for now I’m just going to enjoy the ride.

Am I the only one that didn’t know Cade Mays was a starting guard? I knew he was on the panthers but didn’t know he was starting.

I was at this game. My parents took me to one NFL game a year, and I picked this game.

Cool to see Tampa get win #1 after going 0-26

And I bet no one started the bucs defense in fantasy that day.

It's just for collecting, I don't like ryes either. Usually around 500-600 from what I've read. I've got some good Japanese whiskeys and this is a Japanese inspired rye.

And a pig dressed up in a lab coat and with samurai gear on just makes me chuckle for some reason.

I enjoy sazerac. I've tried the RY3 and was not a fan. I typically don't look at the whistle pig stuff but I'll make sure to look from now on.

These 'estimates' are stupid. Collectives are just storefronts that make paying players legal. Nobody really knows how much money is being thrown around.

Is Okpara injured or something? Last night he got beat by the guy he was guarding numerous times. The Deacon actually went to a lineup in 2nd half with Igor and Cade down low.

Barnes mentioned a hip thing with him a couple weeks ago. I wonder if he's still battling it.
