Wtf... are you blind or just hate Nico? Cause he's the only one that showed up to play on either side of the ball.. we don't score AT ALL without Nico running for his life and making plays with his feet. Just log off for the night if you're gonna make dumb post like that. Wow.

I respect him running tonight like he did but he’s not a good runner at all. It was a great rushing performance for him personally but Will Howard on the other side tonight is a much more capable runner. Nico cannot throw the football though. Stares down receivers. Not accurate. Doesn’t feel pressure well. What good is there to say about him.

Being honest, next year's OL worries me. I don't trust Elarbee to produce a good OL. Maybe that's an unfounded me thing andd he produces a good one next year, but I'm not seeing it. And if Nico isn't protected, everything he's learned this year won't mean a damn thing. You have to protect your QB for him to do good things.

Mix of bitter anger and absolute heartbreak atm. We got embarrassed. We looked more out of place than Indiana. This one hurt.

They owned us on both lines of scrimmage. OL kept collapsing. DL going up against a patchwork OL, just like when we played Georgia, couldn't get significant pressure. And Banks once again refused to use blitzes to get pressure. Our corners couldn't cover their elite WRs, and our WRs couldn't get open against their corners. Major props to Nico for giving up his body and running hard. The rest of the team didn't give him a lot of help.

The talent disparity was obvious. Ohio State signs elite talent at almost every position. We don't have that same luck.

Man, this game hurt.

I will give up a thank you to Nico, but he had no help, none. Defense, I said what I said before and I stand by it. It was like we didn’t have time to study Ohio and Howard. I don’t know what they were thinking with their game day planning, but I do know I’m pissed. Something HAS to change with coaching because it starts there. Yes, we can all look at Nico, the receivers and pass play protection. Hell, they said ahead of the game that they were going to put all the pressure on Nico. Sorry for the long post, but I’m pissed. Time for some assistants to go.

Now that I had my rant. I’m just proud of our VOLs to make it this far.

The defensive line doesn’t look elite when we play other elite teams.

They didn’t look elite either their shirts off. Bunch of fat dudes in the middle. Honestly shocked how flabby they look. Ohio state and Georgia have grown men up front.

You can’t really compare this environment/culture of CFB with years prior to NIL. Completely different. The loyalty to the team/program back then is basically nonexistent nowadays. If a player gets looked at funny in practice they choose to sit out and red shirt only to transfer to another school who’s willing to pay more money.

Only bright spot because he ran the ball well, for him. He still cant throw the ball. And he’s not a good runner at all, he just had an extremely low bar set for his running ability so he exceeded expectations in that department.

If you can't see that this is jimmies and joes, not scheme, I don't know what to tell you. We can't block them. See can't beat their blocks. The only chance we really had was if the officials had called obvious DPI on OSU, which they committed all night long. That would have given our passing game a chance.

There was another example on 3rd and 18. Brazzell crossing was hit and had an arm around his waist before the ball arrived.

It’s been an issue this whole season. We went 8 full first half quarters and only scored 7 points. Teams are playing us differently now and we haven’t adjusted. We are running a veer and shoot. It wasn’t created by Heup and he is struggling to adjust to defenses being prepared for it. The limited route tree has been a huge negative of the Veer and shoot since Briles invented it.

Think the importance of home field advantage can't be underestimated. None of the home teams had a rough game this weekend. Think neutral sites may have been another story. I think we should reduce playoffs to 8 teams and play neutral sites only

Halzle and Elarbee need to get gone and someone who can both recruit and scheme and coach needs to replace them. Like go get us a joe brady or Eric bienemy. They would eat. Nico for heisman. One can dream.

It was his coordinators that beat ours tonight mostly and then some of it was on talent gap. But a good coach can mostly overcome that and our coordinators didn’t come close.

wtf are you talking about? Nico is faster, quicker and has more moves. Howard went against a much less athletically gifted defense in the back end than Nico did. Howard literally just ran straight past them.

I know people keep saying this, but watch the replay early when he starts running out of the pocket. Guys were open if he keeps his eyes downfield. That said, he has talent. Just needs to progress.

To go from +10 or +14 in the first quarter, even against the best teams on our schedule, to -10 or -14 in the first half...

That's terrible. The swing has been noticeable and it cost us tonight dearly
