I disagree. I was there and the crowd didn’t wow me one bit. It was a cool environment, but nothing compared to what we’ve faced in the SEC. Crowd was not a major factor at all in this L.

It’s not on garner, or ekeler. Inge, linebackers could have played better. Defensive backs could have been better. I think this one is really on halzle and banks. They did not seem prepared.

Like why tf did banks have the db’s lining up so far back from the line of scrimmage. Press zone would have been a lot better. That’s how to slow down fast guys, you get physical with them and having help over the top helps if you get burned. Also our safeties need an upgrade.

No. Our athletic department is insanely profitable. Ahead on all goals and projects. The funding is there. Heupel needs to make some hard decision and go out and get some guys that are both insanely talented and can be trained to fit the culture. Like avoid the bad eggs but also mentor and coach these guys. Go spend some money and get the talent needed. Danny white and josh heupel, I expect them to have some heart to heart discussions about how to take the next step.

It’s simple: we don’t have the players and our QB is still young. Hooker had 3 years of CFB under his belt before fully taking over and we had a WR core that was talented enough to make things happen. Nico can get us there, we just need more pieces around him to help get us over the mountain.

It really is. We run the most basic offense I see every single week.

Yea some of his throws this year was next level. But his accuracy was all over the place as well.

Passing offense as a whole was bad this year. Nico threw for 104 yards tonight!!!!!! He threw for under 200 yards 6 out of 13 games. Alot of issues on offense.

I don’t see why we wouldn’t just try to pluck some 2nd string guys from teams like uga and Ohio state. They got 5 stars not playing. Go get em.

Yes. And I can tell you the 25 OSU fans sitting around me also think he’s an elite level QB. That’s all I heard as it was evident we were toast. “Once he gets a little less green, you guys are going to be good.”

True. Pended Hendon had a lot more experience. 2021 Hendon wasn’t as good or accurate as 2022 Hendon but you could tell he had it in him and the offense both years were better than our last two years here. Jury is still out on Nico imo but Hendon benefited from a better OC and his WRs had better coaching too.
