3 days ago everything was fine and we were all pumped about the future of the program. The players/coaches aren’t as nearly emotional about a bad game as we are. What’s going on inside the program? I’m sure Cam has said something regarding this.
Just seems like something is off. So if you have insight regarding this, please share
Their teams were watching us in a playoff game on their couch. **** what they have to say.Waking up 2 days later still pissed we got bent over and shown the 50 states. Hate that we have to now sit all off-season and listen to every non-Tennessee fan laugh at us. Wish we had put up even an ounce of fight.
Banks calls a game like an 11 year old playing Madden. He does not scheme in game. He does not look to set anything up. He doesn't anticipate certain plays. There is no "well timed blitz" or created pressure. If RGs guys aren't getting pressure on their own, Banks is toast. We need a Venables type DC and Heup will be fineI get and agree with what your saying. My issue is in the tougher games, he is VERY slow to change and adjust to what is not working. We waited till right before the half was over to adjust and play tighter. We got a few stops doing it. I do not think he is great at in game adjustments. BUT, we get better speed at LB and safety and we can do better. We need some top safeties.
What will also suck will be seeing other SEC teams win their bowl games. Teams like South Carolina and Florida will be pumped up big for next season.Waking up 2 days later still pissed we got bent over and shown the 50 states. I know most believe we’ll just promote Inge to DC if/when Banks leaves…. I’ve been intrigued with Gary Patterson the last few years. Have always like him and his defenses. He worked with Texas as a consultant a few years ago and then most recently under Dave Aranda at Baylor. Think he’d like to get out of the “consulting” roles and back into a DC/HC gig. His scheme and philosophy may not work here….Banks calls a game like an 11 year old playing Madden. He does not scheme in game. He does not look to set anything up. This isn’t some revelation. Georgia has our number because they don’t have to load the box to stop our run game. OSU had five in the box daring us to run the ball last night and we couldn’t due to lack of push at the point of attack. This is always going to be the issue with this offense and why I have been hard on the OL all year. If you can’t run the ball your offense sucks. Develop your guys and stop portal shopping rejects who are not good enough to get to the NFL.
