Recruiting Football Talk VIII

My gosh…how many times is this going to be posted only for people to say it’s not correct?
Heard on the Ainge show last week someone told them 19 million.

I'll trust that someone who works for the university and a guy who was our QB are a lot closer to the truth than that list.

Especially since VIRGINIA is ahead of us on that list. No one in Virginia even cares about them right now.

It seems to me that when we're playing lesser teams, we can pretty much get away with running whatever offensive plays we want. However, when we're playing elite teams, the fact that we generally ignore the middle 40% of the field in the passing game comes back to bite us in the ass with a wound the size of Jaws' attack victims.

Yes. If you have a chance, just watch how Ohio state played us on the 22 view.

Caleb downs is a great player but he literally didn’t nothing special vs us and he was still able to shut down half the field almost all game by doing next to nothing just alignment and positioning.

I'm about to say something incredibly negative that hurts my heart to say, but it's something I currently believe. Unless we add more talent and make some changes to strategy, we don't make the CFP next year. That could change if Sampson decided to return, and we picked up some talented WR, and we plugged a few holes on the roster. Still not confident in Elarbee fielding a solid OL unit next season.
I wouldn’t put money on any of that being wrong.

Hey Barstool Vandy, we beat yall on your home field, so you might need to STFU

I made a post during the game thread wondering outloud if tOSU was on steroids. They looked huge, even for 5* college players. I wouldn't be shocked if it ends up being true. It'd be something else that we could say was similar to that 97 Nebraska team we played.
Every one of their players looked like they came out of a mold. . . we probably should've been lifting weights during the season as much as the offseason. . .
