He’s off to a rough start. In general he’s a nice SEC player but he’s not an elite WR. I don’t know if we have a truly elite WR on the roster yet.

Nimrod is not the starter and who do you think Nimrod spells when he comes in? We've literally said the same thing. Get Matthews more snaps. I didn't say he should start over Squirrel lol

FWIW on the depth chart they currently have Staley at slot behind Nimrod and Squirrel, and Matthews behind Webb and Bru. I have a hard time believing Matthews won't have earned more snaps than Webb or Nimrod by the end of the season.

He's struggled getting open unlike the prior two seasons and he's had some drops. He's a phenomenal player but definitely having a poor start to the season.

He'll get right but in the meantime, if Matthews is anywhere near as good as Williams like he was billed then he needs some snaps.

I think our passing game has been a little off in general, but Squirrel has 3 pretty bad drops and it's trend from last year. Concerning.

MM would offer more versatility because he's bigger and basically just as fast.

Not giving up on Squirrel! He's got it in him to make big plays.
