But everyone complains that we don't give cp enough touches.. and that could be 1-5 extra touches a game

I would use him all over the field. He should've be our punt returner Day 1. I also haven't watched Young even impact one game positively yet. I like guys that will make you kick away from them in the return game.

The extra touches need to be in screens IMO. I will never understand why Chaney hates receiver screens so much. Plus how often do we make teams punt this year lol

I've said this for a while now. I used to get tired of how many times Randy Sanders use to call those wr screens. Now we've got a wr like CP & even JH11 that has an OC that doesn't even have that play in his playbook.

I would really consider keeping Hinshaw for a year just for recruiting.

No he needs to go too. WR play hasn't improved IMO. I want to keep Jay Graham and Pittman only. I like Ansley but hell he's got to go too(and I don't think he's to blame for what he's working with).

Who all do you think we lose?

I think Bray, Hunter and Patterson for sure...I've heard enough chatter about Sentimores study habits to be concerned there...I also think James might decide to go to the draft...

We're really going to need to land Rumph and North now

CP, Hunter, Bray, and Sentimore are all likely gone. James is the one I hope stays.

Yep...keep James, land Green to go with Lane and Neal...then you run the ball as good as anyone in the league and work the intermediate and short routes with Worley to Pig, Bowles and Dallas at WR and Croom and Downs at TE...this can set up Rumoh and North (hopefully) on the deep routes...

I agree with you...less talent but better play and probably more wins

We will have a lot less talent on next year's roster, but we will be a better team and win more games. JMO.

What????????????????????

Dude, you've said some outlandish stuff on this board, but this tops the cake.

I guess the only question I have for your comment, is that if it's based on Dooley not being here??

Pretty sure he's basing it on Dooley not being here.

Even with that, new systems, new starting QB, no real leaders still, will not lend itself to more wins. No way, no matter who is coach, we get past 8 wins, with a bowl game. Of course, I'll take 8 wins, and I'm sure there is a possibility for more, but I'm thinking more realistically here.

I've got nothing against Worley & I think he could be a good qb but if Peterman is as talented & the natural leader like some have said I'd like to see him win the job when that time comes because of his mobility. Just look at how many teams in the top 10 right now have a qb that can make plays running. JMO

With the right hire we'll see. Texas A&M doesn't look bad under a first year coach. Neither did Michigan last year, it can be done don't know what you're looking at. As long as that O-line doesn't leave we'll be strong on offense. The defense will be better because it can't get worse.

Look at Ohio St. 6-6 team last year that's now undefeated with a coach that has a brain
