You say that like it's a bad thing. Beating Bama three times in a season sounds great to me.
I'm mostly worried that Saban will retire if he wins out because he knows Cornbread is going to own him. As is LSU on his other flank. I want him coaching longer. So we can pawn his azz every year.

I would love to experience sitting in on a recruiting meeting with the coaches and staff just to experience what goes on in such meetings. Hear their evaluations of players, see how they put their recruiting board together, listen to some of their recruiting strategies... I bet that would be pretty cool.

They'd be right. Conference championships don't really matter per se. As proof, we have 4 spots and 10 conferences.

IMO..if OU beats Baylor twice, they will will go in ahead of Bama. Same for Baylor. If the teams split, Bama will go in. Only way PAC12 gets in is if Utah or Oregon wins decisively in their title game. All this assume Bama beats Barn and Tua stays healthy enough.

I think this is all shaping up for a reason to expand the playoff. If I had a say, I would get rid of the conference title games and move toward everyone playing 10 power five games a year. Expand the playoff to 6-8 with the first and second seeds getting a first round bye so that the season still matters for going undefeated or having one loss.

There's no way you can put Bama in if you have a 1 loss conference champion OU and a 1 loss conference champion OR, and a 1 loss or undefeated SEC champion. There's not room.

1. LSU/GA
2. Undefeated Conference Champion OSU
3. Undefeated Conference Champion Clemson
4. 1 Loss Conference Champion OU/OR
5. OU/OR
6. Bama.

There's no way they'd put bama in with only one good win over those conference champions. No way.
Get ready for it. It's gonna happen.

I think Bama would get in before them if they win out.
I hope not. I know the pac 12 isn’t great but if they win out, beat Utah in conf champ and there only loss is week 1 to Auburn i think they should get in. To me, If go out of your way to schedule a big time ooc game, you should be rewarded.

I am sorry, but Saban ain't afraid of nobody. I think he's still driven to win two more at least.

I agree. But, Bama is a blue blood whose only loss would be to the number one team.

They will have to expand. 4 team has been great but it still leaves too much subjectivity like the BCS. My thought is 6 enough and is 8 too many? Need to have a slot for the random undefeated team like UCF IMO but at what point do we get too many.
