But that wasn't the Missouri QB. That's my point. Sure he may implode but he hasn't to this point. I was impressed with him against the Vols last week. Yesterday only strengthened my opinion of him. All I've got is what I've seen to date.
Hypothetical leash that you don’t yank when you have a lead going into halftime. And after the SC game that he pulled out, you’re hesitant towards that even after the turnovers. Can’t explain why it was still intact after the final whistle. Maybe Pruitt didn’t want to lose him for the rest of the season. Can agree with quibbling over that...not that it’ll change the coach’s mind.I'll also add that I thought JG was supposed to be on a short leash!? Guess that was BS... I even think I remember @Atlanta VOL saying it... oh well...
The MO qb is only a freshmen vs our 5th yr senior... think about that. I’d take a freshmen over a 5th yr senior in a heartbeat.
Lol. He lit us up. He's a freshman. If you want to hang your team on a fifth year senior that has zero pocket awareness, zero ability to escape, continues to gift the other team the ball, then be my guest. It just proves how little knowledge of football you really have.Your problem is you think a QB is responsible for everything, bazelak didn’t put up those points on his own. And LSU defense ain’t scaring anyone right now, but if you wanna crown a freshman QB you’ve seen twice as better than Jg then be my guest. It just proves how flawed your logic is
Yes. He had plenty of pressure minus a couple of throws. Was it pressure like Georgia had on us in the 2nd half? No. But that’s because we had to stop both the pass and run.
My statement is right now based on what I've seen. That's subject to change.I get that and he might end being great but I’ll wait a Few more games before putting him ahead of JG. He plays GA in a few weeks and I bet he plays poorly.
What’s interesting is JG played much better than nix or franks did against Ga
We have no razzle dazzle at the WR position. That is never a good thing and it's been that way for us since CP left Knoxville. No one is going to burn the corner on a slant and shake and bake both safeties for a house call. See #1 for Florida Toney. A man can wish I guess..Agree, especially with the statement about the young receivers. We need speed at that position

I have stated several times the o-line nor the play calling did him any favors but he's not a good QB. Yes, I would trade him for bazelak. JG is an average at best QB.
Recognizing blitzes maybe, but blocking those blitzes is not his job; it’s on the O line, Te, and RB’s. And You assume JG has the green light to change it on his own, he doesn’t. So blame Chaney for not checking into the right play if you want to use that example.
And if our million dollar coaches thought we had a better option at QB, I guarantee you they would make the change.
Bottom line, -1 yards rushing is not a recipe for any team to be successful, let alone a singular player. On top of that we had 10 penalties, between that and the rushing numbers we were doomed no matter what
How many times did he give us the ball? They scored 12 points bro, he made a few good plays but he’s no where near JG. Bazelak ain’t even as good as our 2nd or 3rd string. LSU defense has given up like 92 points, most in the league. Bazelak looked good cause he played a ****** defense. Peoples infatuation with the new shiny car/player is annoying.
