That’s what’s so mind boggling to me is Pruitt came here and vowed to play smash mouth football.establishing the run game with results.how does he expect it to be effective with the box loaded when JG is QB? We are literally one dimensional with him...as a OC and HC how do you not see what defenses are obviously playing?...you get paid millions of dollars but can’t even see that defenses are basically saying your starting qb will have to beat us with his arm.no team in the sec respects Jarrett as a runner or passer.the Oline can push people around but not the DL’s and all LB’s as well not even factoring in corner blitzes
Boxes aren't being loaded. We play a ton of 11, they can't load it. People were saying this after uga, so I went back to look for it - they constantly had 5 or 6, maybe 7 in the box. They had 8 only on short yardage sets.

Now...maybe it felt loaded because they were just smashing us that badly 😫

If JP/CJC were worried about loaded boxes, they would play with fewer TEs/FBs, but we are already doing that. Partly because TEs are just so deficient...insert sadface.

Maybe. But they are playing short yardage.JG does not try to play past 10 yards for some reason .we are always behind the sticks

Remember when we all laughed at Florida over the summer?...yeaaa good times

Recruiting-wise, we're not out of it. We still have legit shots with Green and Malone. As far as I know, we have a legit shot to get Tiyon Evans back as well, who most consider underrated. We're not in the same place we were, but we're not totally out of finishing ahead of UF in recruiting. Besides, something will happen where not all of their guys make it in and they go with cast-off former 5* transfers.

Ladies and Gents....I need some prayer for my Mother In Law. She had a really bad migraine this morning that was causing her to vomit. She went to the emergency room and they ran a bunch of xrays and test and found that she has a brain hemorrhage in the back of her head. She is in ICU right now.

My mother had something similar last year. It was a brain bleed caused by a birth defect that she'd been born with but knew nothing about until it hemorrhaged. It mainly effected her vision and gave her headaches but eventually she's returned to almost normal. I would say she's about 95 percent the same as before (she's more sensitive to headaches now). We were told that it was in an area that was inoperable (IIRC it was also near the back of her head -- there's a specific term for the malformation she had but I can't remember it) and her vision and balance were effected for months after the initial incident but it did eventually clear up. But when an area like that is effected, healing takes time. I wish your MIL and your family the best. Hopefully, she has a speedy recovery.

I think the eligibility is getting over played because even if they choose to come back I don’t think the NCAA is granting more roster space right.

85 is still the limit unless they remove that too so even if Kennedy, JG, Cimaglia or any other seniors try to come back they won’t have spots.
I doubt the NCAA gave everyone a free year without having a plan in place to manage the numbers. It may not be finalized but I gotta believe there's a plan in the works.

If push comes to shove, that's a gamble we should be able to take. I doubt he's gonna become available anytime soon unless someone has really deep pockets. With every school losing millions of dollars with this pandemic, I don't think he'll be going anywhere.
Also have to wonder if that bridge was already burned...Lebby too...

Lane Kiffin fined $25,000 for calling out the sec is the most ridiculous thing ever
Such a big play to not review...and it was after a kick. Plenty of time. Maybe cfb coaches should get 1 review/game and it could review nearly anything, no more of this "not reviewable" stuff.

Though at end of day, Kiff should have gone for it 4th down at midfield. Marginally correct anyway, but his awful defense made it even more so.

Seems like Jeep owners mod the f out of wranglers. I have a ‘19 Sahara Unlimited and I love the clean look. All it has is a lift with bigger tires and that’s all it needs. To each their own but no way in hell I’d ever put up ridiculous angry face grills or even light bars etc
When I was young I loved goofy stuff too, but now I love the clean look.

So a family member and I were discussing random things. Trying to keep our minds off the s**t show that we have been through the last few weeks. We discussed the typical "if you were AD, what would you do." Obviously, I highly doubt Jeremy is fired this year. With the extension, COVID, and the recent reductions in salary staff pay, it would be a terrible look. Although, we are both in agreement that it will probably happen eventually. My list was the following in order of calls:

1. Hugh Freeze
2. Matt Rhule (1st year in NFL, may not like it depending on how their season goes. regardless, make the call and ask)
3. Chris Peterson (miss coaching yet?)
4. Greg Roman
5. Steve Sark
6. Left field gamble of Joe Brady or Kendal Briles

I'm more pissed off at the fact Currie should have got his crap together and locked Mullen up. No, he is not elite, but he would be a consistent 9-10 game winner here.
If Freeze doesn't jump ship this year to Auburn maybe we can get him after the end of next year. Would be near a home run hire.

Yeah he should of went for it like he wanted to it seemed originally. I listened to his interview and he asked the line judge if he needs to call a TO so they will look at it. He was told the booth already reviewed it

truth is, and this may be hard for some to swallow...our QB's may just not be very good .

Maurer has most potential iyam. But as one expert said TN messed up when they cut ties with Adrian Martinez. HB and Salter are future.
That expert proved they know nothing. They didn’t cut ties with Martinez. He chose Frost. Maybe they got him confused with Penix...twss.
