Not excusing anything. I'm on the fence regarding Pruitt, leaning towards him not being it. I hope I'm wrong but I chose to ignore the early warning signs with Butch and I won't do it again. Unfortunately I'm seeing some issues, hopefully he can learn quickly enough to keep it together.

Sorry didn't mean to point at you specifically your post just said how I felt about those who were making that argument. I agree with he is showing issues but hopefully PF can guide him through things right now. Imo a big change that Pruitt can make is go with a youth movement on both sides at positions that aren't performing well. With JG, he's going to start against Arky ive accepted it since he didn't turn the ball over against Bama but I want Pruitt to make a change if/when he starts turning the ball over.

Sounds like a reasonable take. The idea that Pruitt keeps trotting JG out there because he is "loyal" or "stubborn" sounds silly in my opinion. Bailey seems to be the only reasonable alternative at this point and hopefully the staff is fast tracking his preparation. The more I see of Salter, the better he looks.

I can't believe BT is halfway thru his junior year and doesn't have a pick 6, with his ball skills and running ability. BT is still, by far, UTs best DB and will probably play on Sunday's, but I expected more interceptions from him
