Such a nice up and coming area! If you have any family or friends looking to build in that area I have 13 vacant lots for sale scattered in 6 well established Seymour/Boyds Creeks neighborhoods.

Totally agree. We have been here since 1998 and have enjoyed watching it grow. Property taxes are still very reasonable too.

We just left the area (Walland) after staying there a couple of months. While there we drove all over checking out possible places to live in a couple of years after we finish our RV travels. Several months ago I asked on here about possible places in the area to live and someone (you maybe?) mentioned Seymour so I made sure we checked it out. It's one of the places we really like.
We have several Seymorons who post on here, LOL. It may have been me because I do love living here.

In all seriousness I actually miss kicking whiteboards Pruitt and grabbing players by the facemask Pruitt. Now it's ho hum doesn't look like he has a care in the world lol

Cancel culture has something to do with that. They would lose their minds if a coach was in face of a player and scream omg covid

2030?? Dang, that’s a shitload of aging in 10 years. It’s like he lived one of his decades twice. Truth be told though, if he’s coaching in front of Tennessee’s fan base 10 years from now, that probably is what 56 looks like.
That's what he'll look like Sunday if JG sh!ts the bed again.

As drvenner and others haves posted, Seymour is the place to be for us. Been here since '85. The changes have been gradual, but steady and sure. After a big burst of housing in the 70's, it settled into slow growth until sewers were extended from Sevierville. When that happened the commercial growth took off to support all of the housing that was available for development on the farm land. The schools and available churches have always been good. Have no desire to live anywhere else.

The main difference is Kamara proved he was better. His stats trumped Hurd's by a good bit.

This is being based on things fans and others can't see, but coaches get the opportunity to.
Given Butch's upbringing, he probably had a problem with the nose ring and just kept him on the sideline for spite.

Doesn't say he texted the HC directly, but if @JacketVol is connected enough to have CJP's personal cell, I'd say he has the leeway to text whatever he'd like?
Mack Brown in his presser earlier this week referenced a text he got after their game with UVA from "dear friend", that simply said "bad loss coach"....the "dear friend" called him the next day to apologize and explained he was just mad and frustrated.

Mack responded, "thanks for the help, i didn't know..." then told him to "...lose my number til spring, and don't ever text me after a game again."

i thought it was a) awesome he shared that story and b) totally ridiculous that a fan/booster...whatever...would text a head football coach of a P5 program (any program though, really) to let him know that the game they JUST lost was a bad loss.

that's just dumb....have a little situational awareness about yourself. jeez......

If the Red Sox can hire back Cora, we can bring back Bruce.

And the Lane Train.

He had a 124 QB rating in toughest level in Georgia. Our current QB had a 82 QBR at a low level New Jersey school. Plus he looks like 💩most of the time when he faces adversity. Let the damn kid play.

To hear people tell it around here he played against some of the toughest competition in New Jersey👀 I’m on your side JG has been ass his whole career

Yeah, we should welcome him back with open arms since he left us in such a great place after just one year here.
there's a stark difference in the reasoning we shoudln't have considered bringing him back, vs. reasons we should have considered it.....if you look at it like that and can seperate the two, assign value to each.....it starts to make more sense. no matter which side of that debate you were on....the arguments for or against at least start make a lot more sense.....

i was all in on bringing him back. i understand why we weren't going to.....

I find it kind of alarming how easily the VQ guys dismiss Harrison Bailey. Do they know something?

In the podcast they were talking about how Dabo wasn’t Dabo until he landed Tahj Boyd and how Simpson could be that guy. They said it didn’t have to be Simpson. Might be Salter. Might be someone else down the line. No mention of Bailey.

Only really stuck out because it isn’t the first time they’ve basically glossed over him being on the roster when talking about the future of the QB room.
This has been something I’ve said on here for weeks. They try to say they aren’t writing him off but they are. It’s salter or Simpson.
