Nailed it!We will fire more guys who aren’t at fault to buy Germy another year so we can watch the slide go further until he is finally fired. An unexpected star candidate will emerge that everyone is happy with only we will be told that we can’t afford it. We will then hire another loser while the boosters and powerbrokers pat themselves on the back for a great hire. The presser will happen and many of us will hop on board reluctantly. As the season nears, more will have talked themselves into it. We will watch Coach McGoogle flail around and tell ourselves he needs more time despite the red flags and talent. Then the slide will begin anew.
Ding ding dingYou don’t make decisions like these on a low year like covid just like you don’t on a good year. Assuming we will be at AT LEAST half capacity to open the year next year (probably full capacity) there needs to be a lot of season tickets sold to be able to project the years revenue before the season even starts. Pruitt finishing 3-7 or 2-8 god forbid is not selling those tickets at the rate you want. But any virtually new coach especially someone like high will probably 1.5x or maybe double what you would get pre season with Pruitt. Once you get that Ut will begin thinking of other ways like concerts for example to get that projection back up to have a steady increase over the next 3-5 years. You’re not going to make up the covid loss in one year but you can set a projection model that will get you there.
It has nothing to do with me wanting them to leave. But with guys like DB and BM on twitter and others. Things AP have said on the podcast. The recent articles by Hubbs it sounds like there are plenty of guys who might be thinking about it.Perhaps i misread your post but I’m taking this to mean you want players disgruntled and threatening to leave

I think of the football program and see very little positive. Then I spend a few hours out in the deer woods and everything is better.

still fun...............
Because if the fans, media, players, other coaches put pressure on Pruitt reasonable thinking indicates one of two things happen.I guess I am not following your reasoning. Sounds like you want them to be vocal with their discontent but not transfer. Not sure I follow there being any type of benefit to that

1. Pruitt gives them playing times.
2. Pruitt runs back to daddy Saban and we get an experienced HC with a roster that is not bare.
Screw it if we can’t get Freeze we better be cheating our *** off and signing some studs this cycle. Hopefully Bailey is a monster on the field and then when we need a coaching change we will know we have talent...
