whoa....chill. i don't think they';re writing him off at all. he really, probably, isn't/wasn't ready because of the covid off season.

i think things may look a bit different after the guy gets some more reps under his belt....and shows some proficiency at the "adminstrative" part of the position....

he may prefer salter's overall skill set....but that doesn't mean if baiely starts performing, that he won't play or be 'the guy'....

i'd put all that in the TBD camp.....

As a freshman he floats around in the pocket better than a 5th year starter and makes the right reads and feeds the open man..he does his job Better than our current starting product .if I would have tried to explain to JG about “floating” in the pocket better he would looked for a swimming pool!....HB should have been starting since game one and by now with reps we would probably be in better shape than we are currently are.HB is cut from a Different cloth

i don't think we have a sample size big enough for us, as fans, to determine that.

that said, i think he's obviously the one with the most upside. he should play.... a lot.....

yep. game plan for that kid. don't throw him in mop up duty in a game we're toast in, and then judge him for that.
He got 4 minutes and did something with it. The tired old “JG gets them lined up properly” didn’t seem to be an insurmountable mountain. Two drives ended with two interceptions, but those were potential scores. That stood out in that failed gameplan.

that, i do agree with.
To me, if i'm a 'QB Guru' or an OC making any measure above $200K per year, let alone over 5 times that amount I would literally be calling every OC connection I have, reviewing NFL film for ideas, and scouting the land for a game maker.

After watching the Pats take a seasoned mobile QB and run for 100 yards behind a FB on Monday. I know that hard work and scheming pay off. Jets had no clue theyd prepped for that. Theyd line Cam under center then next play go spread.

We have young horses, they just need coaching...which is his job.

yeah, i don't see how we're not to the point where it's NOT obvious that there's going to be little difference in outcome (if mistakes are your bigges concern) between the two at this point.

like, so what he's good at checking in and out of the play or calling protections...he still throws up all over himself post snap.

so let hte new kid see what he can do. it literally can't get worse....there's NO difference, except unrecognized upside/potential for the freshman.

Prayers sent. My mom had surgery this past year for a brain tumor. Don’t be alarmed if the surgery takes a long time. I work in surgery and sometimes getting the patient positioned and ready for surgery can take an hour after roll back to the surgical room. My moms took all day but they got all of the tumor and she’s made a full recovery.
Good to know! The mastectomy was 8 hours. Longest of my life.

They were scores if we didn’t have to hurry the last two drives, just saying

What we’re doing isn’t winning football...only samples I need.
i agree, i was talking about HB and extrapolating his 5 minutes of playing time in to what he does or doesn't do...

we simply don't know.

that's not a reason, not to play him at this point.

Exactly. Even the picks were on a 4th down uncalled PI and on the last play of the game just throwing it up for grabs when the D knew he had to throw it

He never does!!! Any QB other than JG the playbook gets smaller! Extremely smaller it’s BS! this kid came here during a covid year with serious restrictions and they are already writing him off?...it’s wrong just plain wrong.he could have literally went anywhere and chose here...would y’all have honestly wanted to play against him if he went to Florida for 4 years!?!..f*** no

If he transfers I hope he goes to GT. It would be fun watching him and that RB they got last year tear it up. (Gibbs)

Time to hire Freeze amirite?

I've reached the conclusion that we could assemble the greatest FB minds on the planet and as soon as they set foot at TN, they would automatically become sub .500.

And I'm fine right here on my ledge, everytime I come back off, it just gets uglier😄

EXACTLY!!! In 4 minutes he got us to the red zone TWICE!! Imagine what he could do in a whole game?...Pruitt is incompetent entirely .f*** practice look at the amount of time you gave him in a live game and what he made happen..instead Pruitt criticizes him for throwing to the only open man because they were in prevent defense but it was still positive yards gained Working our way down the field into scoring position..see he’s so arrogant that he’s just looking at his way of well “he should have or could have done this differently” and “he will learn”.instead of looking at it as “Hey! I screwed up in only giving him 4 minutes to make something happen as a freshman”.that’s so F**ked of him to do that!..like why didn’t you kick the field goal coach,so we could have had a chance to atleast tie it and send it into OT! At that point? But “WE” the fans get told our kickers leg was hurt and wasn’t able to kick from the 25 yard line...LIKE WHAT?!!? EXCUSE ME HOW MANY MILLIONS ARE WE PAYING YOU AND YOU CANT EVEN FIND A BACK UP KICKER TO GET POINTS ON THE BOARD?!?!!??? f*** him. GIVE ME FREEZE or FULMER I KNOW HES ABOUT A PRO STYLE QB

I really don't see how people miss this. It's clear when he walks on the field and becomes even more so when you see the team respond in sync with each play. Other teams and fans make fun of us for playing #2. They want him to start for the next 20 years.

Just another proof Jeremy really isn't the answer after three years of it. By now you should have been able to have identified and developed a real QB.

for JG, sure. i was talking about HB...and his sample size.

Yes we have gotten a taste but it’s enough for us..blood in the water..don’t ever wanna see JG again!...HB managed positive yards and threw for more yards than JG who was in almost a whole game..let that sink in “4 minutes”

i already said HB should be the one playing....?

i'm just not ready to put him on a heisman list because of those 4 minutes lol.
