Holtz, Napier, and Leipold are all good coaches that would win here IMOJosh Heupel, Willie Fritz, Billy Napier, Lance Leipold, Bill Clark, Seth Lutrell, Skip Holtz, Rick Stockstill, Sonny Dykes, Will Healy, Mike Denbrock, Tony Elliott, Rhett Lashley, Phil Longo, Cale Gundy, Sonny Cumbie, Jeff Grimes, Mike Bobo.
Best Google list I could come up with on short notice. Be careful what you wish for cause you might get it.
So Freeze.I don't think UT has an appetite for cleaning house this year. If some coaches don't want to be here, it's a win-win for UT to help them find their way to another school or the NFL, as we have done in the past.
The only thing UT wants less than a coaching search is a public, drawn-out coaching search. The current administration will want a succession plan in place to avoid another public fiasco. With the positive way last year ended and this year started, potential coaching searches at the HC or coordinator levels weren't even on UT's radar. Factor in the pandemic, the financial shortfall, Fulmer standing behind Pruitt and the way Boyd prefers to do business... no cleaning house.
at the end of hte day , i believe all of this to be true.I don't think UT has an appetite for cleaning house this year. If some coaches don't want to be here, it's a win-win for UT to help them find their way to another school or the NFL, as we have done in the past.

UT isn't in a position or the mindset to clean house. But we could help some guys out the door and make it easy for them to go. Fulmer's really good at that-- i.e., Helton. Bet Pruitt could be, too, if there are guys he thinks are good coaches but not the right fit here.
I refuse to believe money is that big of an issue. The university is fine financially. They just don’t want to spend money on buyouts which is understandable since football revenue is not near the same. As a whole the university has plenty of money.
Which 5? I like Heupel, Napier and Clark better for sure.
so you don't believe money isn't the issue, but understand why it is.I refuse to believe money is that big of an issue. The university is fine financially. I think you have to have talent before you can develop talent. Our current QB's are just not talented--HB excluded.Oh well. If there’s anything I’ve learned in these last 20+ years following UT football, especially the last 10, it’s that coaching matters and Chris Weinke sucks at developing talent. Most of this staff sucks. Adios to them all! Fulmer can go too if he doesn’t agree.
I’m tired of supporting a loser program. It’s going to take elite coaching to turn this around, not a top tier QB being coached by losers. We’ve had enough of that nonsense.
i know. just giving you a hard time.It is a year loss not filing for bankruptcy.
