Bring me back the guys on the DL, bring me back Cade Mays and Cimaglia, and everyone else can git. We need the 2019-2021 class to be this team.I think we have more guys leaning toward moving on than people think. They can opt to participate even if they're still mulling it over. Only a handful have made it official.
im thinking of a song..."girl, don't go away mad, just go away".JG will go through SR Day and leave Knoxville. It'll all go away.
Salter makes a LOT of sense in that system.
VQ Podcast said that's the way it is all over, and the supply of kids thinking they can do better is vastly larger than the demand from programs that will take them.I think we have more guys leaning toward moving on than people think. They can opt to participate even if they're still mulling it over. Only a handful have made it official.
yeah, i think i can deal with it if the sr's move on, though there are a few i'd surely keep....that said, i won't get too woried, as long as we don't see kids from these past two classes start leave via the portal in droves. We need as many seniors as possible to move on. Thanks for your contributions and good luck.
Program needs new blood.

Words. What are they and what do they mean??
Chadwell would adapt to the talent here IMO. Would need to run the same offense he runs now.I don't necessarily disagree. I just think it's kind of a rigid system for Salter. He's a scrambler and an improviser. I think Chadwell would have to reign him in to run his stuff and I just wonder if you would be missing out on some of his potential. I could be wrong though. But his running game is built off the triple option. Except he is way more spread out than traditional option teams. But it's still about strict footwork and quick reads and making sound decisions and running clock. Chadwell does seem to sling it around more than most option teams do though which I love. It's a beautiful offense.
That being said you might be right and Salter might be perfect for it if he embraced it. But I don't think he came here to run that kind of offense.
Dobbs was perfect in Butch's system when he stopped caring about the system and let the guy make plays. But he really only did that when we absolutely had to score.
Chadwell might be less stubborn though. He also might completely change his approach if he came here. Who knows. Im just going off what I see out of Coastal Carolina. I would love to see it and think it might work with time.
