It's true that we're a train wreck, but I don't believe firing a coach for cause when you actually have cause hurts you with future coaches, especially when said coach has performed as poorly as Pruitt. And I'm not sure Pruitt has done himself any favors in coaching circles by firing an assistant mid-game.
Then fire him for poor performance. There was no need for this crap to go public. It’s a sh!t show from top to bottom. We’d be lucky to even land Chadwell right now.

As long as your a draw for the cash cow they look the other way.
Who? The ncaa doesn't make anything off them or hardly any. Mostly just off March Madness.

The SEC? Maybe, though I'm not sure if they have any sort of oversight or authority.

He’s been wrong about as much as he’s been right. I appreciate the info he brings though.
I appreciate the info of those close to the program also. There is contradictory info from two different people with knowledge of what’s going on now. I’m trying to reconcile it some with my post to MetalVolunteer.

CBD weed works really well. Downside obviously is you have to smoke it, but it gets to your blood stream faster. Besides IV administration, inhalation is the fastest route to the bloodstream.. I have chronic neck pain and I use CBD weed when I get in bad shape. It works very well and also helps keep my BP down when it rises due to severe pain.
Glad you like smokable hemp. It’s the purest form of cbd injestion and obviously hasn’t been processed!
Check out our strains on our website.

We only sell total thc compliant strains as well.

Why pay his buyout when you don't have to? It's no longer a matter of whether or not this should have gone public. That genie is out of the bottle. So if there are any legs to this whatsoever, and you can fire Pruitt with cause and avoid paying his buyout, you do it. Seriously, if we've been this sloppy at cheating that pisses me off more than on the field performance.

I’m of the opinion that Pruitt is likely coming back next year because I have no faith in the administration. They don’t really seem to care about winning or the fans, unless it’s to make a quick buck off of them.

It’s fun to “choose joy” but I’ll believe it when it happens.

Basilio's blog today is a good read. Might be fan fiction, might be an aggregation of message board chatter, but it matches up with the tea leaves being swirled on this site and what is being publicly reported by the establishment media.

Two Key Points Playing Out Behind The Scenes:

1. The UT power players want to rid themselves of Jeremy Pruitt, maybe as much as the distraught fan base.

2. They would love to find enough on Pruitt to force a settlement and save millions, but skate by with the NCAA and avoid major penalties.

YES, FELLOW VOLUNTEERS, WE ARE BACK IN A FULL BLOWN MESS.

The leak came from some that want Pruitt gone in the dept. Word from Trey's camp, who received/confirmed the leaks.

Forget who (AV/LA?) said it, but he definitely has pissed some people off.
That's not exactly accurate. "Trey's camp" you call it actually say they have been working on it for a while. They say there wasn't a leak and it was old fashioned reporting. When Gray was out of the game Saturday that was the final straw.

How were you a fan in the first place if you can just...turn it off one day?

Im not trying to talk ****, I've genuinely wondered this before.
Been a fan for a long time. It's not like I just turn it off. It's been turned off slowly over the last 3 coaches. I didn't just wake up and decide I'm not longer a fan. The football program has been driving fans away slowly for a few years. This is their fault.

The Tony Basilio Show

Yes, back where we were with Schiano. Old money wants this but new money wants that. Who’s going to be the peace maker and bring it all together?

It was a leak. There’s no reporting or breaking a story without leaks. It will also probably be the last bit of information he gets from UT for releasing this.

Can we make a thread where the only posts are from “insiders”, TOS, and real news/professional speculation. I think the extensive scrolling is messing with my eyes.

I have deep sympathy for Pruitt's loss of his grandfather. It's rough to lose a loved one. But Pruitt's attitude is what really sparks most fans frustration and anger. And UT's apathy towards its fans just amps it all up to extreme levels. IF Pruitt is getting fired, we can't necessarily wait until it's convenient for his emotions. Not like he considered Brumbaugh's feelings when he fired him mid-game. Sometimes you just have to rip the band-aid off. The longer this drags on, the more convinced I am he's our coach next year.

Nobody had issue with his attitude until the QB fiasco. The hate is driven from his refusal to move on from JG and prepare for future. I get it. I’ve been done with him too but there is a line not to cross that we clearly have people in boosters, media and fanbase that are not beyond crossing. The biggest issue is probably you got all these random people given a voice in radio and Twitter who are unprofessional and allowed to rile up fans with rumors and hate. They don’t think about the human aspect of anything outside of themselves. They just scream screw him and make me happy. At the end of the day the guy has worked his butt off and I wouldn’t want to manage a team during a year like this where you had a pandemic and a lot of mental emotions from election year. All for firing him just want it to be professional so that other candidates are not scared off
