We both know he and others got wind of this story weeks ago.It was a leak. There’s no reporting or breaking a story without leaks. It will also probably be the last bit of information he gets from UT for releasing this.
Look into a product called Ecodrop Relief by eco science. I take it daily. Have had 5 knee surgeries, and couldn’t run 50 yards without it killing my knees. After 2 steady months, I easily was doing laps around a track.Lots of back pain from where I broke it a few years back, plus arthritis.
Right. AP and Hubbs knew about it for weeks but there’s a professional conduct when it comes to college athletics regarding when and what to report. Maybe his source will still be employed but it’s probably a coach on his way out if i had to bet on it.We both know he and others got wind of this story weeks ago.
The reason he went with it when others didn't is that Fox Sports Knoxville has very little access as is. He had nothing to lose.
What? You do realize when the investigation started right? It was a leak. There’s no reporting or breaking a story without leaks. It will also probably be the last bit of information he gets from UT for releasing this.
Why pay his buyout when you don't have to? It's no longer a matter of whether or not this should have gone public. That genie is out of the bottle. So if there are any legs to this whatsoever, and you can fire Pruitt with cause and avoid paying his buyout, you do it. Seriously, if we've been this sloppy at cheating that pisses me off more than on the field performance.
Imagine starting an internal investigation on your coach who’s record is horrible. Then imagine that internal investigation being leaked from the inside with the thought process of getting CJP fired with cause but not his record or lack of development. Everyone cheats, everyone knows it and that’s why most of these things stay internal.
Knoxville media is poop. Boosters pulling in all directions and you can’t trust the AD to have your back.
This is just me but, if I was a coach, there is absolutely no way I take the UT job until they fix their issues in house.
I like Pruitt as a person and really thought he’d turn this around but obviously I was wrong. I think he should be fired for his record and lack of development but this whole leak thing stinks. Who is the leaker?
I believe as of now that Pruitt is coming back. Two days ago I was certain he would be fired as early as today. Deerpark’s posts over the weekend are sound logically IMO. The Administration wants UT football to be successful but there are not good options for Head Coaches this year that would be any different than when we hired Pruitt 3 years ago. I invite you to read his posts since Saturday. He also explains in good detail why it is unlikely Freeze coaches here or any other P5 school. His prior transgressions going back to his time as. High School coach are too much to overcomeI’m of the opinion that Pruitt is likely coming back next year because I have no faith in the administration. They don’t really seem to care about winning or the fans, unless it’s to make a quick buck off of them.
It’s fun to “choose joy” but I’ll believe it when it happens.
I think that's probably right, although I think it's very possible there was no "final" source to put his reporting over the top and he simply had the article ready for when it would do the most damage.Right. AP and Hubbs knew about it for weeks but there’s a professional conduct when it comes to college athletics regarding when and what to report. Maybe his source will still be employed but it’s probably a coach on his way out if i had to bet on it.
So the question is, how much do the major power people really want to fire Pruitt? Because I doubt very seriously that whats happened will be enough to fire him with cause or to the point where the buyout is reduced.Basilio's blog today is a good read. Might be fan fiction, might be an aggregation of message board chatter, but it matches up with the tea leaves being swirled on this site and what is being publicly reported by the establishment media.
Two Key Points Playing Out Behind The Scenes:
1. The UT power players want to rid themselves of Jeremy Pruitt, maybe as much as the distraught fan base.
2. They would love to find enough on Pruitt to force a settlement and save millions, but skate by with the NCAA and avoid major penalties.
YES, FELLOW VOLUNTEERS, WE ARE BACK IN A FULL BLOWN MESS.

Would’ve much rather had them hire Steele than Napier
