Glad we are keeping Pruitt. When we fire him next year and lose most of the instate recruits, we can finally get a google coach. Napier, Freeze, Gus, etc. will be taken off the board next year, they won't come here over others.

Just another 15 years Vol fans.

Napier most likely will still be available next year. Freeze isn't happening and who knows what Gus wants to do. But if Napier wants the job as has been said he will be there next year when TN makes a change.

Seriously, an ongoing investigation has everything going through legal. A situation like this impacts decisionmaking and timelines. Any coach who's interested in a UT opening knows that. Info can be backchanneled but UT still has an intact staff.

What if Napier has another 10 or 11 win season next year and somewhere like TX opens? We can't really afford to wait.

Nah, not that bad yet. I’ve just seen some “lack of loyalty” comments, and they don’t feel he has really bought into WVU tradition. They think he will bolt as soon as something better comes along.
