The only hope I have is in the fact that we’ll no longer be hamstrung by JG. They did appear to open up the play book a little without him out there. If we can get off the field on 3rd plus have more variety on offense maybe we can get over the hurdle win 6 games next year. This was one of the worst offenses in football this year and one of the worst in our history. It’s doomsday keeping an OC who can’t score 20 points.
Lot of great players throughout NBA history. I used to watch the occasional highlight film. Bill Russell was great, and has more rings than anyone IIRC. Centerpiece of those great Celtic teams from the '60's. Wilt Chamberlain was good, but I always thought he benefited greatly from playing during a time when 7 footers were not the norm. Nowadays, every team has one. Pistol Pete had amazing ball skills. (TWSS) Anyone who enjoys the game should go back and watch highlight reels of the older players that made the NBA what it is today.Talking about older players has reminded how much I enjoy Inside the NBA. Barkley, Shaq and co are hilarious.
the rest of the staff. sounds like OL coach could be in play as well as DL, DC, LB....maybe another spot too. This whole conversation is operating on the assumption of if Pruitt and Chaney is back for the 2021season. So the whole yet point is irrelevant to this conversation. I think you are putting too much emphasis on the literal “FU” to the fans part. It’s more of “we know the fans are gonna show up no matter what next year so why go through the work of firing these coach and finding other ones this year.”
But i will play along... they stick and stay with Pruitt/Chaney.... what other things could be playing out?
Certainly possible. Just my take on it: it doesn’t sound like anything is moving forward right now either for or against Pruitt.
I would have been way more concerned about Pruitt staying if Hubbs had said: “they’re currently vetting candidates for the OC position.”
Who said I'm excited. I said this was a poorly coached football team and that we weren't even close long before a lot of others on the board. I want him so far gone its not even funny, but its not gonna happen.yay, I’m glad you and a lot of others here are excited about that.
Maybe next year Tennessee will get 2 wins.
We scored 19, 42, and 13 without JG. 42 was against a team with 48 scholarship players and even at full strength we’re terrible. So take out the 42. We scored an average of 16 points. Next year will be miserable if we keep this staff. The only hope I have is in the fact that we’ll no longer be hamstrung by JG. They did appear to open up the play book a little without him out there. Is not absurd to think Lebron is better than Jordan or the other way around. Two are very close. Anyone that thinks own is WAY better than the other are just nostalgic for whatever they grew up with lol.
