Christmas eve is Thurs., bra.eh. the season just ended Saturday, we were going to a bowl SUnday, not going Monday. his grandfather's funeral, investigation news breaks, he got covid and Christmas Eve is tomorrow.
i'd say next week provides a window that this week may not have. especially if you've been doing your due diligence behind the scenes already.
so if we're still doing this same song and dance next Thursday afternoon/evening....i'd say get your cornbread pans ready. lol.
Really sounds like we’re going to run this thing back in 2021 and if so you can find me in the NBA and MLB forums.
I can’t believe they’re going to kick this can down the road.
Lawyers are involved in almost every aspect of state government and public universities. If there is even a hint of impropriety or wrong doing, the lawyers are involved. That’s not new.Trey Wallace on 104.5 the zone is saying that TN lawyers are involved along with the compliance office in the investigation.....that sounds like a lot more serious issue against Pruitt.
We don’t get the extra practices for bowl prep. Now the next milestone is signing day in Februrary. Can’t imagine they will rush anything. If they do keep him, how soon will we find out any staff changes that may take place?eh. the season just ended Saturday, we were going to a bowl SUnday, not going Monday. his grandfather's funeral, investigation news breaks, he got covid and Christmas Eve is tomorrow.

I would rather him just be a really good coordinator-Hubbs
So tired of this BS. Chaney doesn't recruit, doesn't coach a position. JFC there is no other active coach in college football getting paid what he is to do less. We need an OC that coaches QB's or another position group and who is a dynamic recruiter. Insane.
Oh I agree. Just trying to find the silver lining cause I think we’re stuck with Pruitt till 2022.We scored 19, 42, and 13 without JG. 42 was against a team with 48 scholarship players and even at full strength we’re terrible. So take out the 42. We scored an average of 16 points. Next year will be miserable if we keep this staff.
Urban is on a TV show. He doesn’t want to take flack for saying UT football is terrible. We will just have to agree to disagree in everything else you posted. If we were a top 10 program why did so many coaches turn us down in 2017? I think is roughly about half a dozen, right? Why have we now had 3 bargain bin coaches in a row now? Because that is all we can get now. That is not a top ten program.I don’t know what you do for a living but taking random timeframes to compare anything can prove anyone’s point. Let’s look at the last five years or last ten years of this subject to this subject. But when accurately depicting a subject you have to look at a whole body of work and use all data. It’s not hard to understand. Why do you think people like Urban say this is a top ten program? Because it is. Just because you make bad hires and have terrible head coaches does not mean you are not a top program. If you put a ten year old in the drivers seat of a Ferrari, it doesn’t matter what all the car has, it won’t win the race. That is Tennessee.
UT doesn't move slowly because they're employing some kind of prudent strategy.Yeah, the urgency to make a decision has evaporated. As much heartburn as it will cause me, moving slowly is now the correct approach.
(Or, as you said, UT.)
based on some of the stuff flying around last night, could be some as soon as today.....Friend to USCe has real steam, and seems likely at this point. that would be the first one to go, imo....We don’t get the extra practices for bowl prep. Didn’t read the article so this might’ve been mentioned, but IMO the NCAA has no business passing this rule unless they also plan on eliminating the 25 initial counters cap.
You can’t have both IMO.
