There are two simple ways that can be easily done IF two very strong willed coaches would be humbled enough to know this thing can be fixed.
1) fulmer must get his ass out of coaches meetings and away from practice. He’s got to be an AD and not a coach
2) Pruitt must get his ass away from his coordinators and let them do their job. If chooses to do defense that’s fine but that has to be clearly defined. He must completely get his hands off the offense. He must have his EDo conversion now of next year fails
If those two things happen we can win 7 maybe 8 games next year and this program can start to have some solid footing
Wrong. As soon as we stop believing we’re a top program, we will become a bottom feeder permanently. Gotta keep swinging and trying to find a coach. Eventually we will get it righrThe sooner we realize we aren't a top program anymore the better. I gave up when Dooley was hired and fired. I knew then we weren't gonna be great anymore. We don't have the people in place that want to make us great nor will we for the foreseeable future apparently. I basically glance at the scoreboard when we are playing and move along. I hate that but it is what it is right now.
Hes had plenty of time to figure out that he can't be meddling on the offensive side of the ball. He did it from the very beginning with Helton and did it again with Chaney. There are two simple ways that can be easily done IF two very strong willed coaches would be humbled enough to know this thing can be fixed.

I’d see who Boise State targets and immediately offer him double, whoever it might beHarsin taking that auburn gig just shows home schools and dream jobs don’t mean **** when that checkbook opens up.
That’s is a really good hire.
Smh it just makes me shake my head at how other programs get things done, while we were the bed time and time again.
I hope somehow someway we can add Kevin Steele back to our staff.

This together with not firing Friend and playing #2 too long, both issues on the offensive side of the ball, have lead to his downfall.
His best approach would have been to let Chaney do his thing, never hired Friend to begin with, but at the very least parted ways with him, and managed the QB position differently. Had he done those things I seriously believe we'd be looking at a completely different situation today. But he's just too stubborn.
How did we go from "this weekend is important for him to not get blown out"
To getting blown out. 3-7. 6 straight double digit losses.
And they now hinge it all on this investigstion?!? Look at the on-field failure!!!
If Chaney could be turned loose (if that's the issue) and the offense takes off, it would be absolutely perfect. Wouldn't ever have to worry about him leaving for another job when successful like Joe BradyHes had plenty of time to figure out that he can't be meddling on the offensive side of the ball.
