Kaidon Salter is a dude. Our offense is going to show great growth under HB/Salter. Pruitt will fix the defense. We'll score more points and be more competitive in 2021. We'll go 8-4, but won't get blown out except by Bama next year. The rest will be competitive. Pruitt will show progress and come back in 2022. He'll land the majority of those in state kids. Will compete for the east in 2022.
Okay. Here's to hoping.

What did Blackburn do? I know that he left the AD office and went somewhere else but never heard or saw an explanation.
Don't know. Just remember some conversation but never saw concrete evidence. Those things are usually kept internal until someone with an agenda spills the beans.

Bailey hasn't had much of a chance. He played 3/4 of the UF game, a little more than half the Vandy game and about 12 or 15 snaps against A&M. Thats not much of a chance.
Pulling him after any mistake didn't help his development. He never really got to build any rhythm or work with the WR's.
Don't disagree, but it's not about HB, just winning or losing games.

There was no good way to manage things when Chaney's offense stunk no matter who played. Our 3rd down offense and sacks allowed were even worse at the end of the season. People would have been unhappy regardless. It was a moot point given this garbage OC and QBC.

But I fully agree Pruitt blew it over the last few years at QB. And the stories about CJP thinking there wouldn't even be a season and we prepared like it...just WOW. Even more reason so little time was put into qb3&4 BM/HB. 180 degrees from what a CEO does. I'm tired of this bum.

I’m down for this. Weinke needs to go and get far away from this kid. Maybe Chaney takes over QBs next year.

Is Dylan Brooks not a high profile recruit? I think there are several others already signed this year, not to mention last year..are we just making isht up now?

Dylan is a 4*. How many 5* recruits did he get this cycle? How many did Bama, UGA, LSU, etc. get? How many 4* recruits did he get this cycle? Compare to the other SEC schools. Treading water for #6 or so in the SEC again unless he pulls out a Hail Mary for February. The best ones are passing on being Vols.

Jeremeh ain’t fixing this. Didn’t take you long to forget

If you can’t tell the difference in that QB and Lawerence even as a freshman idk what to tell you.
2020: Made collegiate debut at Wake Forest, completing 2-of-3 passes for 16 yards and rushing once for three yards … completed 8-of-11 passes for 75 yards and rushed three times for seven yards with two touchdowns vs. The Citadel, becoming the first freshman quarterback at Clemson with two rushing touchdowns in a game since Kelly Bryant at Miami in 2015 … rushed twice for five yards and completed a pass vs. Virginia … rushed for 17 yards vs. No. 7 Miami … available but held out as a precaution at Georgia Tech … went 1-for-3 for 11 yards vs. Syracuse … made his first career start vs. Boston College and completed 30-of-41 passes for 342 yards with two passing touchdowns and no interceptions while also rushing six times for 25 yards with a rushing touchdown … led Clemson to the largest comeback in Memorial Stadium history (18 points) in that game, earning ACC Rookie of the Week honors and sharing team offensive player of the game honors … with that performance against Boston College, joined Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence as the only true freshmen in Clemson history to win their starting debuts, and his 342 passing yards were the third-most by a Clemson freshman (true or redshirt) in his starting debut, trailing Watson’s 435 yards against North Carolina in 2014 and Charlie Whitehurst’s 420 yards against Duke in 2002 … earned ACC Rookie of the Week for a second straight week and shared team offensive player of the game honors after completing 29-of-44 passes for a career-high 439 yards with two passing touchdowns at No. 4 Notre Dame while also adding a rushing touchdown … his 439 passing yards at Notre Dame were the third-most in a game in school history and broke the school freshman record of 435, set by Deshaun Watson against North Carolina in 2014 … the 439 passing yards at Notre Dame were also most ever thrown against the Irish by an opposing quarterback, breaking the mark of 425 held by USC’s Carson Palmer in 2002 … completed 7-of-12 passes for 31 yards and a touchdown vs. Pitt … played one snap at Virginia Tech, a handoff to Darien Rencher that resulted in a 50-yard touchdown.

Boy he’s a real dud. They are gonna suck🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The story I read/heard was that a plane was essentially on its way to pick up Wittingham when Anderson quashed it because he didn’t think he’d be a good “cultural fit.” Blackburn called him out over the foolishness of it all, and so Anderson has effectively blackballed him ever since.

I think he then texted some ill-advised things when it became apparent he wouldn’t be under consideration as AD.
There ya go. I knew it was something that would prevent him from being considered for the AD position.

We're still doing Jake's sarcastic optimism thing?

**Granted, if we go hire Yurcich, UF QBC, etc then maybe there's a slim hope. Still need a top transfer QB too (think Salter likely needs development time). I just don't trust Pruitt comes out of his passed by era in time to save himself. Chaney will run up the middle 60% of the time, throw a few sideline 5 yard outs, and we'll average 24 ppg again.
