Agreed. We have real problems on offense. I’m hopeful HB can be the guy. I thin salter has a ton of potential. But we have no proven receivers, no proven qb play, mediocre coaches, our best RB is a ? Mark, and an Oline that underperformed losing its best player

Watched part of TB's basketball show from last night. Said BKB is prepared to play for Pruitt or Steele. Also said Steele and Felton are friends, so the expectation is that BKB would be fine with whatever the direction is moving forward.

Then he went on to say Pruitt is locked in an aquarium on Times Square in a straight jacket. Everyone right now is tapping on the glass to check for signs of life. And because Pruitt is showing he isn't dead yet, everyone is assuming he will escape. Says there is no reason to think that's gonna happen, and that if Pruitt is the coach next year he should change his name to Harry High School Houdini.

Accurate? Probably not. But it was an entertaining analogy.

I would say he has SLIGHTLY backed off the idea that Pruitt is completely done, but barely.

We have a lot of talent at wr, QB, we do need to get the line playing better and more experience should help that group.

Big Kat was 2nd team All-SEC. This past season.

Kevin Steele last coached LB’s in 2015. Reckon he forgot how to do it since then.

Every fan will hope he turns it around and we do well. We’re tired of sucking. Still doesn’t mean I have any want to go to a game and continue giving my money until they prove we can win consistently.

I think HB can be the guy if the coaches leave him alone.
I think Salter needs an offense closer to today’s standards or give him the option to create on his own
receivers are a huge question Mark but one always seems to show up when we don’t expect them to
Gray will return after a suspension
Maurer will be out
Truthfully the only thing the OL needs is a coach worth a damn. There’s plenty of talent up front

No I’m not. I’m facing reality. I don’t believe he’s fired. I believe he hires Garner this week as DL coach. I don’t think Pruitt will make it as a head coach. But he’s our coach until he isn’t, and I hope he figures it out.

It’s better to face reality and hope for the best than to whine all day on VN that he’s still the coach. The good news is that Freeze, Napier, Chadwell and others will still be available following the ‘21 season if we have to make a move

Keeping Pruitt after a disastrous 3-7 season shows they don’t care.

They’ll continue to trot out bad product as long as you continue to give them money.

No they won’t. We will wait to watch all them get hired away before we make a move. It’s the Tennessee way.

I hope we utilize Hooker in a similar fashion as Florida used Emory Jones this year. Situational packages where he can run or pass. But expecting an offensive wrinkle from this staff may be asking for too much.

This. That’s why if Pruitt has any hope of turning this team around he better find some help with this offense
