As we continue on debate whether or not Pruitt should or should not be our coach, we need to remember our allegiance should be to these kids who want to play and don the orange and white. No matter who wears the headset, I will support the Vols because of the players and the coach will always be secondary. These kids deserve our support no matter who coaches them.

So maybe Pruitt really is just wired to work hard and is out their fighting for his job and this place he’s grown to love!

...or maybe his counsel told him just do keep doing his job until these people decide what they’re going to do. It doesn’t look great, and you’re going to need to get future employment so you don’t want to look like you mailed it in. We’re likely going to have to negotiate a settlement so it needs to look like everyone is smiling as they walked out the door.

If we lost Osovet it would hurt in recruiting far more than it would in coaching.

IMO Osovet and Nieds were our two worst position coaches. Not saying he couldn’t have gotten better but when Jacob Warren came out and said the TE’s we’re having to teach Osovet how to be a TE coach - that ain’t good.

He’s a pretty arrogant individual... he may think he can still win the job. I hope this is the case.. the more bodies in the QB room the better

Osovet sucks. And we have folks on here declaring him as some up and coming big time coach. He can get out as far as I’m concerned.

If it's in the hands of the lawyers, no one is going to know anything until you all the sudden look up and Pruitt is fired or they are announcing the investigation is complete and the results were turned in to the NCAA.

Not Pruitt, the players, or Fulmer are going to know until it's done.

They should honestly just absorb the TE group into the WR group and hire another defensive coach. Between Nieds and Osovot I have no idea what they were even doing during the week. Most games I forgot we even had TE's.

Thats the point. Bring me someone who has PROVED it. Quit trying to serve me a happy meal at Ruth's Chris for a decade and expect me to keep paying the $100+ tab.. its not rocket science. I could come up with a list of at least 10 coaches over the past decade that have far exceeded anything we've done.

You were talking about people complaining about Pruitt. That is the main reason people are complaining. It if part of his body of work. It tells us how far away from success we are. It tells us our culture needs a lot of work. We have some talent. We had no development last year. You can't lose a year of development and have major culture issues and expect them to be turned around as quickly, especially when the leader has not demonstrated to this point that he is capable of making the philosophical changes necessary to show improvement.
