Peyton won’t go after Lane. If he has a say in this, as many media have alluded to, you really think he’s gonna poach Kiffin from Ole Miss and the rest of his family? Not a chance. We’d all be better off to accept that fact now.
then if he's worried about his family and OM and not whats best for this university, then he needs to not be involved....

I’d want Ingram. The Dave Hart stuff turns me away from Gilbert. But my fear is Barnes has enough pull to make Gilbert happen.

Yep, also why you heard Barnes pandering to Plowman and Boyd in his post game presser last night.

"Leadership at the university, with Boyd and Plowman, is as good as it gets"... "I've been a lot of places and worked with a lot of great people. They're as good as it gets".

Rick is going to push his old Lenoir Rhyne buddy in as it is the comfortable hire.

Think about poor Jay. He forever gets to hear his initials associated with that.
Every time I see "JG" I think about Jarrett and wonder "why is he back and coaching RBs?". It's going to take a while to get over #2.

I love Jay Graham though. He can stay as long as he wants.

THANK YOU #25

You don’t believe Steele had mental anxiety issues that led to problems on game days 20 years ago and is over them now??
I don't think he's worth the risk when there are obviously better options out there. Taking a chance on an unproven commodity is what landed us where we are right now. It would be extremely stupid to make the exact same mistake again. Sure, there is risk associated with any hire, but better to hire someone that has actually shown they can win as a head coach than someone who hasn't shown that.
