I'm starting to get angry every time I see "respect my decision ", and I'm not quite certain why.
I think because it's a demand, from a 16-year-old kid no less, for something that typically is earned. I mean, nobody has to "respect" his decision; it just is what it is. It comes off as presumptuous and arrogant.

The "no interviews please" is pretty eye-rolling too. A lot of these kids are already used to the star treatment at a very early age and just presume they'll be hounded for interviews because they made a statement about their college choice.

Hot take

Currie was good and would have been good here if allowed to do his job

with him already landing on his feet it’s clear others agree

and Blackburn hasn’t landed on his feet
He was awful. He was completely beholden to the Haslams and was going to hire Schiano. He went rogue and tried to offer the job to Mike Leach. He. Was. Awful.

And Bama wasn’t in the same orbit as UT and UF in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Then they finally got their HC hire right. UT is back in that orbit once they get the right HC. It’ll happen one of these times. Fingers crossed it’s this time.

This is so tiresome. Yeah, we get it, we’ve sucked for decade and a half.

But if you ask this question in the 90s, you say the same thing about Georgia. You ask it in the 80s you say the same thing about Florida.

It’s just the same, lazy take: “Oh, haven’t won lately? Your program must suck and it was never any good.”

Currie was a good AD but made a few mistakes. He elevated Baseball and was getting ready to elevate Football with Dan Mullen but we all know how that ended. I still don't feel sorry for Fulmer, this thing came back and bit him in the ass.

I think it’s because neither he nor Colby Smith nor Julian Nixon were going to be in this class. Pruitt had effectively gitshirted them.

and they still almost F'd that up by wanting Rich Rod, lucky for them, he turned them down.

I don’t want Tee, Lane’s WR coach is better and has only coached the position one year.

Co-OC and Co-DC is never a good idea imo, never works out well, for us anyways.

Lanes WR coach looks better because of who is calling the plays not the WR coach. Easy to look good when your wide open with so much space. Kiffin would drop his guy for tee any day

AP just posted the Hubbs/50 gif in response to a post about Garner coming onto staff after someone questioned his first gif, which was stone-cold looking at watch. Still don't think this means that Steele is the HC just that everyone would take those two on their defensive staff.
