AP just posted the Hubbs/50 gif in response to a post about Garner coming onto staff after someone questioned his first gif, which was stone-cold looking at watch. Still don't think this means that Steele is the HC just that everyone would take those two on their defensive staff.
Agree. Sounds like Garner will be hired very soon but that doesn’t mean Steele is the new HC.

We hire Bob Stoops, Hugh Freeze, Lane Kiffin and that shuts the national morons up. If we hire Steele, we prove this guy right.

Plowman, Boyd, Ingram (I hope) have to get this hire right.

B. Stoops
H. Freeze
L. Kiffin

Any of those 3 would send the message

These same things were said about Bama when I was in college. I remember when "Clemson'ing" was a phrase, too.

Sports journalism in the 21st century is terrible. I'd love to have some of them in a room, give them a sheet of paper and a pencil, and ask them to explain the difference between a RPO vs play-action.

Good morning, Tennessee. We're halfway through this week!
Surely, nothing else could go wrong!?
Amiright?

I believe this means we are looking at predominantly offensive minded coaches they will have half a defensive staff waiting for them when they arrive.

This is the reality I choose to live in.

I think because it's a demand, from a 16-year-old kid no less, for something that typically is earned. I mean, nobody has to "respect" his decision; it just is what it is. It comes off as presumptuous and arrogant.

The "no interviews please" is pretty eye-rolling too. A lot of these kids are already used to the star treatment at a very early age and just presume they'll be hounded for interviews because they made a statement about their college choice.
Think back to when you were 16, were you full of life lessons and wisdom?

Guys quit the hand-wringing over and trashing of Steele as HC. This is the same guy that the big money people at Auburn wanted. With that said, he will not be our HC beyond this interim period (which will not last more than a couple weeks). We would however be fortunate to have him as the new HC's DC. So quit trashing him as a coach. He came to our house of horrors to help us through this painful process. He is one of us, as he played for UT under Majors, and also coached here. He coached for a number of years under Tom Osborne and won a NC there. He coached under Saban. He was DC at LSU and Auburn. He is a well respected DC. I hope we can keep him in that role under the new HC.

Ingram will be announced as AD soon.
HC to follow within a week thereof. It will not be Steele.
My opinion only, but I am not alone.:)

You think it’s Chadwell? If not, who’s your guess?

No way in hell should he be our HC. No different than Fulmer should never have been AD.

It either means Steele is about to be the HC, or we already know who the HC is gonna be and they have already signed off on Steele and Garner being a part of the staff. I think its the earlier.
