Seems Plowman and Boyd are going to do this the proper way legally, which is why they hired a search firm. But I’d be surprised if they didn’t already know who they wanted to hire as AD and HC before firing Pruitt and Fulmer.

Most of the time when a search firm is hired they've already got who they want and use the search firm to vet them

Drew is battling. He’s had pretty frequent blood transfusions due to his low counts. He has had chemo about every 3-4 weeks. It’s surprisingly not been as bad as I envisioned, but kids are a lot tougher than adults. He has had strength gains (Praise God) and recently started wanting to eat meals. He’s down quite a bit of weight. I’ll take the small victories right now (like the appetite returning) all day long. God is bigger than that though and this has drawn him so close to Him.

Peak Tennessee.. It would have been FAR more beneficial to keep Pruitt one more year then fire him without cause. Then we would've had time behind the scenes to vet a new coach without these upcoming huge sanctions.

I think we’d be in the same boat as we are. If they’ve operated for the past 3 months thinking that Pruitt is coming back for sure, then they are idiots. You know that the firm handling the investigation was keeping them in the loop this whole time. And for that reason I’m hoping that they’ve been planning for this scenario for a while now. The good thing about doing it now is you can salvage the ‘22 class.
