I guess I see if as being sort of funny, like some of the arguments against HB may be agenda driven or something. Like his performance Saturday maybe should be discounted because he took advantage of some busted coverages but Hooker's performance should be excused because someone bumped his arm that led to his throwing a pick six. smh.

We say we need a QB who can push the ball down the field and I would assume that means we need a QB that can generate the highest yards per attempt. I mean it's about aggregate distance, right? It's not about one throw; it's about a body of work. jmo.

So last year in average yards per attempt, HB was at 8.5, JT was at 7.5 and JG was at 6.7. In the O&W game HB was at 17.33, BM was at 11.40, and HH was at 7.93.

I'm sure numbers don't always tell the whole story so we probably need to take some of HB's completions and yardage away because he doesn't deserve them and maybe add some to the other guys because someone blocked their view or a receiver dropped the ball or something, whatever, we need to do something to try to prove that the other guys can win us a lot more football games than HB because dawggone it, that's just the way it is and everybody just needs to accept that and quit making such a fuss. jmo.

Bring this back to start my posting day. It's a pet peeve of mine on here. Selling narratives that make no sense with the facts and visual evidence that are available. However, it is a message board and posters are free to express - which is a good thing.

My preference is to build a fact and knowledge base to build consensus and have some fun along the way. You know - the opposite of the FF. That's what you and several others do on here and it is appreciated. We do not have to agree with each other, but those type posts are thought provoking and challenging to the address. I think it helps us truly become a stronger fan base that will not be intimidated by others and who can vocally support the program or demand change with facts and our money instead of mattress burning in the middle of the night. We can get into a knife fight at the Waffle House or enjoy the ribs at Applebee's with each other once we are done.

Could be waay off base, as I'm pretty sure I said this about last staff. This staff is going to do work on the road. And, more importantly the right way.

I still think Jancek will push for some field time. Kid is a very good receiver.

Not enough stars, no scholarship - sorry, not allowed. You cannot earn your way to playing time, must be magically granted by the ratings fairy.

Got a feeling this staff pays attention to who can compete and make plays on game day. He may get his number called along the way.
