Sorry man, but 45 is firmly in X territory. 40 is a gray area maybe, but go ahead and own your older generation status.

LOL, you're probably right (I've never paid much attention to it), I just know two things:

I didn't grow up with a computer or internet at my fingers

The original Star Wars trilogy changed the world

Then they ruined the franchise by making Episodes 1-3.

Random thought for my fellow message board members: With the seemingly increased focus on the 2023 class by the coaching staff, does anyone else get a feeling that may feel that they'll stand a better shot with developing relationships with them vs. the 2022 class? It leads me to wonder how many HS recruits will be included in the 2022 class, and if the coaches will continue to try to flip the roster via the portal? What does everyone think the HS/Portal breakdown is for the 2022 class? I'm going to say 15 HS/ 10 Portal.

With all of the recent transfers in, what does our two deep look like? Here is my crack at it...corner and inside backer seem like they biggest concerns for depth. None of it matters if we can't find the guy for the QB position though. Certainly not a complete roster, but looks to be a roster that can be bowl eligible if we find a leader at QB.

This is for a 3-4 scheme...that’s not being run.

The portal is definitely the way to go for immediate help in developing depth where it's needed. I don't think it will be a long term thing for recruiting. Developing players is going to be the key going forward.

"OLB's" in my depth chart like Baron and Young will have their hand on the ground some, mainly rushing the passer. OLB, DE, JACK...call them what you want to, they will be pass rushers primarily. Everyone's base defense nowadays is 5 DB's...not really a true 3-4 or 4-3 anymore.

I hope they don't take that many portal guys.

My man Ron was talking about that today on the radio and someone chimed in and said “people don’t be fooled by what appears a wholesome moment, Ron made some money on that shot”
I won't say how much but I will say it was a lot compared to what I typically bet. I will also say if you get the chance to hang with that group, do it. It was an absolute blast and Ron Slay is a national treasure.
