My biggest question with NIL. What will prevent businesses whose owners are fans of certain universities from offering deals to good players from other schools in exchange for the player's commitment to transfer to said owner's school of choice?

Aired enough that “the industry” understood TN administration was naive and they should stay away. Anyone live near the Atlanta Area and have any suggestions for my current situation? I am having a major issue getting my Family back to North Carolina. My wife’s mother got in a wreck while she was driving to Texas and her car was totaled. So my wife left our house in North Carolina to go get her and bring her back and something went wrong with her cars transmission. (I am currently in Guatemala and can’t do anything)

Well no auto shops or roadside assistance would come and they were stuck at a gas station overnight after replacing transmission fluid and everything. Then this morning the car finally worked and my wife drove got her mom and made it to Atlanta before the car stopped working again. Now my wife and kids are stuck in Atlanta with no way home because no auto mechanics will work on the vehicle during 4th of July weekend and the rental car places won’t let us get a rental from Atlanta airport to Raleigh Durham airport.

Suggestions are welcome. My daughter, son, Their grandmother, my wife and her cousin are literally stuck and are just trying to get back home. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

2 MILLION OVER A 4 YEAR CONTRACT !!!! Think about that, stew in it for a while and understand what this does to "Amateur" sports. I have no problem with people making money but a freshman at TSU, not Duke or a big time basketball school and not a top 10 player in the country. How is that going to go over in the locker room. I bet he'll have a BUNCH of friends around campus.

Ugh that sucks. Hope you find a way brother. I know (some) ubers will go long distances for a really great tip. Or maybe there's a greyhound? Worst comes to worst...maybe they fly back. Unfortunately I have no good ideas, but best of luck. Keep us updated.

Man, that’s horrible! I know it would be expensive, but Lyft or Uber? Why won’t a rental company let them rent a vehicle to drop off at Raleigh Durham? How about a rental company outside the airport like Enterprise? U can rent a cheap one for a week or so, as 2 people will have to come back anyways to get the car that’s broken down.

From my understanding, she was informed about the infractions from a person outside of the compliance department. She is a smart lady in that she didn’t try a cover up and kept UT in control and involved in the investigation by going public. JP was a dumba$$ and PF was on autopilot. Considering this was going to blow up she, IMHO made lemonade out of lemons.
