So with JJ leaving I wonder if the coaches will be looking for another LB? I know we have so many needs on D. We need pass rushers, LB, CB, DL pretty every position. I feel that with the ones leaving open the door to recruit who the staff wants but it sure hurts now. Hope the leaving ends soon!

We are allowed breaks. And no. We have actually delayed a bunch of positions and now operating shorthanded. Yay!

Last year both of my huskies was scared and this year it was only one and I felt really bad for her. I put her in my vehicle and me and her rode the back roads for about an hour.

It's certainly part of their process. Some said it's why Mizzou was punished pretty harshly for what seemed to be not a huuge issue. They didn't catch it. It took some tutor coming forth iirc.

Common auditing criteria - the internal controls in place are about as important as anything.

The tutor admitted to Missouri that she had done coursework and Missouri opened an investigation and told the ncaa….it is very similar to what UT did besides she did post on Facebook telling what she did before Missouri opened the official investigation…. Missouri was pissed and said they would never help the ncaa investigate again.

A tutor is not the university, compliance, or AD employee. Had she not told them, they never would have known. So, their own processes or employees did not catch it - internal controls either failed or were not in place.

Not all that familiar with our own case tbh, since so little is known, but I thought it was suggested the individual was at least a UT employee, if not within the AD.

I'm pretty sure JJ Peterson went into the transfer portal before Heupel was hired.

The tutor was a university employee and paid by the university…. She tried to claim the university gave her a 5 dollar an hour raise which made her feel pressure to make sure the athletes passed.

My aunt did this with her Golden and said it worked great. Going to piggyback off of her research and try it with our guy. Our dog would not just go to sleep, even with the tranq. He just laid on his pillow and whined because he could still hear and feel the booms but could do anything about it. We felt absolutely awful all evening long. Poor fella was still a wreck.

I have a GS/Elkhound mix that barks at stuff she "hears" in the next county. We started giving her Delta 8 chews. They work really well..

I think it’s fair to say this isn’t the first time a someone has come forward. The optics were she used it to fire him. A whistleblower takes it to the media for punishment or some other entity to inflict punishment. This feels like something else. It came from inside. I’ll withhold my opinion of her until I see what the NCAA does to us. Because they have so little resources. And contrary to popular opinion I don’t believe they’re out to get us.

I highly.... Highly doubt people are routinely contacting the president/chancellor of the school with smoking gun evidence of malfeasance. Here or anywhere else.

This idea this was all a dog and pony show to save the buyout money just doesn't hold water for me. Between the cost of the investigation, court costs and settlements with Beldar, and the ultimate trickle down costs of whatever our punishment is, we aren't going to save any money at all. And that would have been obvious from the beginning.
