Fwiw, adding OU and Texas would have given us the 9th most talented team...in the conference...last year. We were 15th nationally. Being merely middle of the pack won't do anyone shiz.

Just pray you can reach 7th-10th nationally...then you can be rewarded by being 6th in your own conference...great! 😴

And 12 teams in the playoffs.

When 6 SEC teams will be getting in the playoffs regularly, that's something to hope for. I definitely think we can get to that level in the foreseeable future.

Recruiting is pretty poor. Still think anywhere from 25-35 is in the cards.

With Texas and OU coming in it's hard to see any of Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Tennessee, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, or Arkansas ever really catching up. It's a HUGE gap that continues to widen. Something else needs to be done

Instead of being happy to have the opportunity to play the best regularly, some of you would rather play Slippery Rock for a flag football championship. Since the top division of CFB is now NFL lite, I want to see good football and my favorite team competing at its highest level. Sort of like the Titans have done in recent years. Build it up to compete against the best with your own identity. Then go make the playoffs and see what happens.
