Bad thing is, you can take literally nothing out of what HB did last year...there was so much wrong that it is a wonder he hasn't been ruined for good by the experience. He had literally no development and when he did finally get a little development, it was utter garbage crap development, and then he was forced to try to look great while running a horse💩 offense where everything was wrong...with absolute garbage protection.
That didn't care enough to help him up.

1. The first penalty was roughing the snapper not the kicker. The snapper gets protection in a scrimmage kick formation and you can clearly see him get blown up right as he snaps it. The signal by the referee is the same, the announcer just didn’t know.
2. The second kick did go through the uprights but the play was blown dead because of a false start on the offense. The official under the upright was just signaling that the play never happened.

No wonder why there is a shortage of officials. People don’t know the rules and rely on the uneducated announcers for their judgement.
I know the rules, just need to pay more attention I suppose. If you watch the refs, one signals no good, the other looks toward him to see the call. Either way, the calls were correct, it was just a weird way for the game to end.

It doesn't change the 85 limit, so not really.

It would make it much easier for teams to overcome lots of attrition.

Still makes blue bloods stronger. The big 5 (Bama, Clemson, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Ohio State) can sign more top players then pick and choose ones that aren't working out in camp to get to the 85 number.

Not sure honestly…. I remember them splitting pretty evenly at the beginning and I thought Stewart looked better…. I was wrong! LOL
I just remember hearing how great Stewart looked. We had two highly ranked QBs so I didn't care as long as one worked out. Thought they had a year to figure it out.

I have...you have to be able to hit those short-intermediates consistently too for the offense to hum.
It doesn’t work though if you can’t throw it over the top….. from what I hear….. Milton has been the most accurate in those situations as well….. that may change with a live opponent trying to shut you down but that’s yet to be determined.

Yep, the homers cancelled him. It’s really embarrassing that it came to that and just perpetuates the view that we’re all a bunch of ignorant blowhards. Should be a lesson to everyone to actually attempt to listen rather than shoot the messenger.

Feldman also wrote an article in the Spring of Butch’s last season about how we didn’t look like an SEC team. Same type of reaction from our fans, “Oh, he don’t know nuthin!” then we go 0-8 in SEC play. We could stand to be a little more open to difficult reporting.
I remember everybody here roasting the team for posting that workout photo where everyone but Kongbo was soft and fat.

Some WSU Cougar fans are gonna get a slap in the mouth when they get a good taste of "Game-Day Guarantano". . . it's kinda surprising that his bad performances are seemingly overlooked. Truth is, I hope he gets it right and has a great year, but it seems like he's still making the same bad decisions with the same bad habits.
"Guarantano will absolutely win 6,7,8,9 games"

How eligibility does he have left?

Glad CJH seems to have quickly identified his 5 best lineman and put them at a position. Feel like Butch and Pruitt were constantly moving guys around to the detriment of continuity on the line.
Out of all the unbelievably dumb things Pruitt did, that was the most outrageous. EVERYBODY knows that you find 5 OL and let them build chemistry. It is known.

If Milton is, then he has improved a lot...I watched Bailey, with my two eyes, with guys chasing him all over the field throw dimes all over the field over and over and over in multiple GAMES...I haven't ever seen Milton do it.

Unless Bailey somehow magically forgot the ability how to be accurate on short-mid range throws in game situations...then I do not believe it, but of course anything is possible...like you said, we will see. Since Milton is obviously the guy they are going with..I will pull for him with all my heart...I hope he is great.

UCF threw the most deep balls in the country last year (69 in 10 games). Whoever runs this offense, has to be able to push the ball down the field. Just because a QB can’t do that, doesn’t mean they are a bad QB, just that he doesn’t fit this offense. Heupel himself probably wouldn’t have fit this offense.

So how has Milton looked in practice? Pretty good? Pretty bad?
I don't know..I do know he hasn't looked great in games I've seen. He has done some great things, but he has done a lot of crap things too...of course it could be because of the crap system, or substandard recievers he was playing with.

Tony Basilio just said there's concerns at WR, coaches don't love that room. They have speed but that's about it. Velus Jones has a hammy issue. Hyatt can't play on the outside because he can't beat press coverage. RB is going to be solid. Defense won't be as bad as you'd think. DBs could be surprisingly good
