Not sure honestly…. I remember them splitting pretty evenly at the beginning and I thought Stewart looked better…. I was wrong! LOL
Stewart felt like another Heath...big, strong armed athletic guy..while Peyton threw wobbly ducks and was slow as molasses...

Hence my arguments in a nutshell..

If Milton is, then he has improved a lot...I watched Bailey, with my two eyes, with guys chasing him all over the field throw dimes all over the field over and over and over in multiple GAMES...I haven't ever seen Milton do it.

Unless Bailey somehow magically forgot the ability how to be accurate on short-mid range throws in game situations...then I do not believe it, but of course anything is possible...like you said, we will see. Since Milton is obviously the guy they are going with..I will pull for him with all my heart...I hope he is great.
I went back and watch Harrison’s highlights….. didn’t watch the Vandy game bc they are Vandy couldn’t find just his highlights against Auburn so I didn’t get to see that one…. In the games I watched….. he completed double the amount of passes at the line of scrimmage as he did 10 yards or more. His comp % over 15 yards was less than 30% and probably closer to 10%. Most of the running for your life was caused by holding the ball too long although the line did him no favors.

IMO…. We should have no bias for or against either qb…. Milton looked good in his first two starts before his injury…. He was also hindered by a poor system…..Bailey was just a freshman in a covid season and had a mess of a team thanks to Pruitt…. They should be considered on the same level with the best man winning…. That man happens to be Joe Milton.

Big picture - Saban is gonna have a field day cutting kids and with more space available, the number of transfers might become even worse. Increasing demand will exacerbate the transfer cycle.

Little picture - This should help rebuilding teams quite a bit. Can't complain right now. This is good for us.

Not to me….. I just thought he looked better in games….. they both had very similar stats that freshman year before Phil decided stick with just manning.

Man I hope they don't screw this show up...I have a bad feeling Sheridan is itching to "Jump the Shark" for no reason.
They just can't keep killing people for the sake of killing. The show is set in our current environment and it just doesn't work that way. Pretty soon, everyone will be killed off and then what do you have.

True...still those schools can get rid of their 5* that don't work out and replace with more. But I think it's necessary for schools that have a mass exodus with a coaching change.
New rule:

1) we all get more spots

2) Saban gets less spots

"All NCAA members in agreement say aye"

AYE!

OMG are you that obtuse, or are you just messing with me? Of course I mean exactly what I said..he was no great athlete, but he was a great college QB.

Well, saying someone with those accolades is “nothing special as an athlete” seemed like a pretty ****ing dumb thing to say, so, yeah. Clarification was needed.

ETA- I’m actually gonna apologize. I missed and hadn’t gone back through all the back and forth you guys were having. My bad, guy.

the throws by Milton and Bailey around 2:52, when they are rolling out to their left, are on the money. Really feeling that we are going to set at QB and this offense is going to be running people.

Watching 5 QBs rollout and 5 wrs all catching balls is wild looking. Maybe that could be a new sport. We'll be #1 easily starting out since CJH innovated the game of Hypeball.

In 3 minutes of routes on air in this video, i saw almost zero balls on the ground. This is what we want. Accurate passes well placed, receivers that catch and run.

Please don't let this be a mirage or a figment of my imagination. Put it together on Saturdays, please!

1. The first penalty was roughing the snapper not the kicker. The snapper gets protection in a scrimmage kick formation and you can clearly see him get blown up right as he snaps it. The signal by the referee is the same, the announcer just didn’t know.
2. The second kick did go through the uprights but the play was blown dead because of a false start on the offense. The official under the upright was just signaling that the play never happened.

No wonder why there is a shortage of officials. People don’t know the rules and rely on the uneducated announcers for their judgement.
The shortage of officials is becoming a bigger issue by the year, at least across Tn. The five years I officiated, my association barely had just enough to cover every game. Trust me, officiating at the middle school, jr. high and hs level isn't going to make you wealthy lol. All the guys I did it with officiated for the love of the game. You have to block out the noise from the fans and screaming parents, etc and just focus on the game and your role. It just doesn't seem like younger guys are as eager to get into officiating now as we did. I would almost bet on the hs and jr high levels, the avg age of officials is 50+
