Trenton is probably the best team Martin will face this year. There schedule looks to be super easy to me. Next week against Gibson County will be a blow out for Martin. I think Huntington and Ripley will be the hardest teams remaining on their schedule. After watching Ty play, I’m not convinced he will be great at bama. I’m terrible at evaluating players though because I was not impressed with Chad Clifton in high school and he played 9-10 seasons in the NFL. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Trenton is a very good 1A team to be fair. But I doubt they have a D1 prospect on their roster.

I think my hometown team has 1 individual being looked at by Tennessee. (Really good player - also I hope he goes to Tennessee because it’d be the first player that wasn’t a walk-on that went to Tennessee for Football from my school I believe)

Marquez Taylor he is a 23’ guy

Yep, UT wants stability in all the marquee sports-- which is why we just saw the contract extensions and staff enhancements that will keep these coaches at UT for a while and allow them to expand/upgrade support. This allows DW to focus on fixing football, knowing the other programs are in experienced hands.
Lame gif but....

Thank you for posting, sharing what UT fans have been wanting to hear for sometime. I’ve got a granddaughter and grandson that I WILL show and teach them the true Tennessee Vol traditions.

Pretty tall IYAM.

Westview was the 4th best team in their district the past 2 years. They lost 101-7 to the 3rd best team in their district. I saw those Covington games and I've been consistent that I don't see a 5* player. Those Covington teams don't have a D1 player.

To be fair there is very little D1 talent in Northwest Tennessee. You have to get to Jackson, Memphis area to see much. Haywood County always seems to have some. Westview probably won’t see a D1 player until the regionals or later in the state tournament if they even make it that far. Ty just doesn’t play against high competition, nor does he have elite talent around him like HB did in high school.

Any of you morans know of best MTB trails up in NE TN? Round of beers on the winner...at Che Guevarra.
Bays Mtn and Warrior’s Path in Kingsport, Pinnacle (Buffalo Mtn) in Johnson City, Sugar Hollow in Bristol, Panther Creek in Morristown, Dirty South in Knoxville, or hop over the mountain and hit Bent Creek in Asheville, or DuPont and all the Pisgah goodness around Brevard.

Posted this in the art thread, but this thread is my home on VolNation. Feel like I can share a proud dad moment. My eldest - 15 yr old daughter - has been working on this for a couple of days. Sent me this picture from school today.

Weezer…

I'm not sure what you're suggesting, but I think I'm insulted.

Quick note on pools from someone who has never owned one… and this probably carries over for most big purchases…

If it’s not a must have, make it a don’t have.

The last thing you want is long term regret on something you were never really sold on in the beginning

Yep, if you allow it to be time is on your side when it comes to purchasing big ticket items. Dodged many a bullet through the years by taking time for the desire to wane and thinking things through more carefully. Stuff can weigh you down so much you can't enjoy life.

As a Floridian, pools are clutch for a year round activity. Not alot of "fall days" so it's a nice way to cool down. I'm not familiar with the care during winter weather so that, I would assume, should play a factor. Pools have gotten really expensive the last decade so it's a tough decision than it used to be.
