Yeah, some adjustments will be needed.

At the end of the day, he can’t have many regrets. He tried to fix the place he calls home. It didn’t work, but he was their only hope.

They are going to have to run the triple option or something to ever get where they want to be.
I think Jamey Chadwell from Costal Carolina would fit really well at Nebraska… he recruits well in terms of conference ranking and runs a very modern spread option system from the pistol. It’s very balanced and effective even against the better teams they play. Another name for that job for me would be Wisconsin Defensive Coordinator Jim Leonhard. That guy can absolutely coach and has turned down Alabama’s DC opening (right after the 2017 season when Pruitt left) turned down A&M’s and turned down FSU’s. Also just turned down the Packers DC opening. He’s bound to land somewhere and he’s really young

Nebraska just simply can’t fire him. Buck the trend of firing guys after four years and let him have a decade. Of course, the people who sign the check sound like they’re burning the place to the ground. So he’s got that going for him. Sounds familiar.

Guys.. I’m really scared about my cat. It’s the weekend so my vet can’t see him, and even on Monday I doubt they’d have an appointment open.

There’s one 24 hour emergency vet that can take him, but I just can’t afford it. Emergency vets elsewhere close at midnight or are booked. I’m at a total loss and his eyes are getting worse by the hour.

So you don’t think he left to coach for his alma mater?....🤔
Lol he left because they gave him more money. But he ultimately left because he knew he wasn’t going to win anymore.

Dude had just gone 13 - 0

Name a coach that has gone undefeated at the school they were at and left the next year….. I would bet you it’s only him.

Could it be an allergic reaction to something? If that's a possibility, benadryl is safe for cats.

Johnny Majors won National Championship 12-0 in 1976.

Came home in 1977

Cats can have terrible allergic reactions to grains in most grocery store cat foods. My cat several years ago was near death before I put her on a grain free diet. Found the grain free on Amazon and pet stores for starters. I don't know if that's what's going on with your cat but I thought I'd mention. My cat got a lot of years after that. My cat passed away at 20 years, I felt like it was a good run. Good luck.

Edit: The reaction came on suddenly. Lot's of years before the allergy became apparent.

Second eidt: Turn around was amazingly quick once I changed the cat food.

What do you recommend (shake wise) for intermittent fasting? I’d like to try it by skipping breakfast, shake(s) for lunch and then eat dinner as normal.
It depends on your set up
i like the simplicity of how you’ve set up your routine. Compliance is a huge obstacle and so much of what I do is setting up sustainable habits.

Protein distribution in those shakes would depend on what your daily targets are and how much you are getting at dinner. Great work so far

Funny you say that.. we usually feed them wet food. Ran out a few days ago and they’ve been eating kibble ever since until I can make it to petco. It seriously might be the issue.

No vet visit? The people on the cats subreddit are acting as if he’s going to lose his eye if I don’t go to the emergency 24 hour vet right now. (Which is $200 just to see him. Much less diagnose and treat)

If I were you, I would give the cat half a benadryl and see how it looks tomorrow.

If it is an infection, they are just going to give you some antibiotic eye drops and send you on your way. I don't think it is serious enough to warrant an ER visit. A few hours won't be the difference for your cats eye.

But that's just what I would do. I'm not a vet or have any medical knowledge whatsoever outside of owning a **** ton of animals in my life.

How does one give a cat benadryl with no pill pockets on hand?

I had no money at the time, and it seemed to get a little better after a couple of days of treating with antibiotic eye drops, and then slowly got better every day. Just google "antibiotic eye drops for cats"

Man, don't listen to people on Reddit. That place is full of overreacting morons.

Drops is probably the way to go if you can get ahold of them.
