If UT only wins 4 games, time to shut the program down.

Anything close to 15-0 and it’s time to shut all the damn naysayers down.
Seriously, Tennessee football Thursday night for Pete’s sake. It’s time for everyone to be excited about the potential!

Awesome potential for this team, these coaches and this fanbase to celebrate an awesome season!

RF, my mom needs you prayers. She was hospitalized yesterday with COVID. On a vent. She got sick 2 days after getting her first vaccination. She is my hero for all she sacrificed in raising me as a single parent. I am headed back on E-leave tomorrow from SW Asia. I pray she can see, hug and kiss her grandchildren again. My girls are what she lives for. She hasn't seen them in almost 3 mo.
Will do

I honestly still don't see why the QB thing is such a point of debate. The guy with the record setting offenses, a national championship, and runner-up for the Heisman, evaluated the roster and for whatever reason determined that he wanted something more than what was there. He recruited another QB that he felt better meet the need. During practices and scrimmages he didn't see anything that changed his mind. Great. I think I would be more surprised if he recruited the new guy and then he didn't pan out.

Now why he determined that he didn't see what he wanted to see is a mystery to me, because to my untrained eye, HB looked pretty good. But that is key..."my untrained eye". Of course 8 seconds after Joe screws up, I'll be screaming for HB like everyone else. But for now, it seems prudent to at least give the coach with the consistent record of accomplishment the benefit of the doubt.

Definitely praying. Keep hope alive. Take pictures of your children to put in the ICU so your Mom can see the picture. Help her remember what to fight for…

Prayers brother!🙏

I watched the VT vs Pitt game a couple weeks ago. I wasn’t impressed. Their defense plays pretty sound and aggressive, but they gave up some big plays. Offense was nothing scary at all like I thought the way they talked about their QB. I think we win by 10+.
Pitt is susceptible to the big play. We should win, if our defense is improved

And everyone who has been at Tennessee's practices has said its pretty clear Joe is the best one out there.

Sounds like he has 100% earned the start in this offense.

So strange that people are obsessed with HB like that. And yeah Milton may struggle a little bit, but at the end of the day we all need to be very excited because you know who isn't trotting out there ever again...

I support everyone. I hope everyone does great things here. I guess if you are down the depth chart you find everything wrong with them and not focus on all the bad things starters do. Y’all want me to send Miltons down field passion percentage and overall stats? They weren’t very good. Doesn’t mean I don’t hope he is the next Cam Newton and lights it up. Milton won the job the day he walked on campus. Period. I know someone who speaks to DW, JH, and other coaches. He is on the sidelines almost every home game that he can be. He was in Fulmer's box for BYU and other games. Milton was QB1 the day he came here. But that doesn’t mean I can’t stick up for Bailey and say he hasn’t been given a fair shake and is judged to hard for playing in a terrible offense last year when he didn’t even get practice until into the season.
I don't think HB is a bad QB, but I think it's ridiculous to say he hasn't been given a "fair shake". Why would Heupel not play the QB he thinks gives him the best chance to win? Heupel isn't Pruitt. Heupel has actually earned his stripes as an offensive guy. So why would he not take what he sees at practice and pick the guy that best runs the offense? It wouldn't make sense for him to say Milton's "his guy" if HB actually ran the offense better. I think that's just a ludicrous assertion.

Bingo..man we are due some good fortune though, but it is just so hard to believe that it will after the last 15-20 years...we have just had so many freakishly bad bounces on top of bad everything controllable.

For instance Florida has made a ton of really bad decisions too, yet pure freaky good luck has glossed that fact over in a bunch of seasons, and they are not the only ones.

Time to deliver a ton of freakishly bad bounces to all our foes!

You know what they say about Karma and revenge…

fun as hell to be on the giving side of both. Time for the other teams and their fanbases to to look around and wonder what the hell just happened!

15-0 🤠

Because Uncle Dobrucky, that’s why!

In the LSU game he was also playing a back up QB who was terrible and still put up those points. He beats them with McKenzie Milton. I think people are trying to find a way to criticize the best offense in college football for the last 3 years.
It is absolutely baseless and stupid

I don't understand why people think it's over for Bailey at UT.

I think it’s just because we all know the era of free agency we live.

QBs leave when they get beat out for jobs and who could blame them?

it’s just the world of college football we live in. It would be an extreme longshot for him to ride this thing out past this fall

People like the poster I was originally responding to are the ones that will make an already tough rebuilding job even harder.

We have to foster an atmosphere of confident, but understanding patience...anyone with any common sense realism should know where we are really at "right now"...the whole 8-10 win crowd is basing that on a ton of huge "IFs" being true or happening that haven't gone our way in 20 freakin years...

If we turn on Heupel quickly because of a set of unfounded expectations based on overly optimistic suppositions, then you can stick a fork in this program for good.

Losing to Pitt this year, depending on the way we lose of course..if we even lose..is not a indicator of our staffs ability to get on the right track for future success..it would be a speedbump and that is all.

Now if we get run off the field in these coinflip games with no valid reasons to point at like a rash of bad injuries to key personnel...then that may be an indicator that this staff is just not up to it.

I really hope they are up to it, and these coinflip "speedbump" matchups turn out to be "slingshots" instead.

Okay so I am cautiously optimistic. I totally understand if it doesn’t happen the way I want it to. But I have all this Tennessee lightning in a bottle and the thunder in there keeps sounding like Rocky Top! It’s time to release our 20 years of pent-up rage on the opponents this year.

Ok, I tried to tone it down for you, but who the eff am I kidding?

He’s invested in Bailey and somehow thinks that suggesting Bailey needs more time is a knock on him. It’s not. No one said anything bad about him. Milton just brings a different element that Bailey can’t right now.
