I think it's the other way around. Mushcamp took them to 11-2 and Mullen 3 NY6 bowl appearances. McElwain won the east twice. All 3 mediocre coaches found a lot of success at UF. It's not a hard job.

Mcelwain is kind of different tho. He was handed the East twice by Butch. His Florida teams weren’t good he just got insanely lucky with a horrible East and inheriting a top 5 defense from Champ

But I do agree that Florida is a fairly easy program to find success at now. Historically before spurrier they’re very mediocre tho

Crazy thing is I think he's a perfect fit to do the same thing Henry did. I don't think he'll be as successful at it, but he may do just well enough that these last 9 games aren't completely unwinnable.

Last season in Detroit behind a trash line AP was still good for 3.9 YPC and punched in 7 TDs.
