This comparison makes no sense. Dansby is the starting shortstop. Davidson has barely played at all, and he started him in game 5 of the World Series. Everyone of us said it was extremely risky before the game. That is not hindsight. It turned out to be 100% correct. It was a boneheaded decision and it may have cost us the series.

His team is up 3-2 if they win tonight. But you guys have no clue. It's a 7 game series and you have to play the cards dealt to you. Charlie Morton was suppose to start tonight instead of Davidson but it's Snit's fault he broke his leg and can't start. He was put in a position to do what he has to do in game 5 so if we don't sneak the win, all our arms are fresh with our two best starters not counting Morton to take the mound and give us the best chance to win the series which is the goal. He starts Fried on 3 day rest and gets bombed then where are we going into game 6. He should've taken him out in third when first runner reached IMO. Which is what I would've done but only one guy gets to make those decisions with the help of his coaches. Learn the game a little better but it is ok since you are just fans.

I honestly think some of you secretly hope that the Braves blow it so you can continue to rail about how bad a manager Snit is.

No. Snit is garbage. Anthopolus has done a great job assembling him a team that even he got to the World Series. It is a modern day miracle. He's legitimately bottom tier in the league for a manager. Hopefully they win the series and still replace him. He "retires" in the offseason hopefully.

it's been a few press conferences back and don't remember exact words but analytics is a thing to him !

If you want to go start for a P5 team as a transfer you can't wait around without the ability to reach out to coaches. It is what it is.

I think if (when) Tennessee does win this weekend that Stoops genuinely considers moving on from Kentucky. He’s a pretty good coach, but I can imagine he wonders what his ceiling at Kentucky is and if he hasn’t already hit it.

Here my take on Snit. He is an incredible coach from a man management perspective. He has bought into some analytics as well. His weakness is bullpen management. Always has been always will be. He’s bad at it but he’s good enough at the other stuff he’s still better then most alternatives. Learn to live with the weaknesses cause you get the positives to.

Dan Mullen doesn’t handle losing or scrutiny well. I’d say the Tennessee job would’ve eaten him alive.
