You ever played Football? 40s and 50s you don’t even feel it…. Especially if you are “playing” lol don’t even know why they are talking about it period.

“Yeah, the temperature for us is something that our kids get exposed to, here the last couple of weeks in particular, of being out in some chilly weather,” Heupel said. “Should be fairly similar to what we see at the beginning at kickoff on Saturday night. You talk about the experience up front, your kids have got to know it. You’ve got to be the most excited team on the football field. No matter what the elements are, man, you’ve got to be ready to go compete.

“It’s why during spring ball we’re outside every single day, and when elements hit, we try to get out inside of ‘em, whether it’s rain, whatever it might be, to make sure your kids get those experiences. Our kids will be ready to handle the cold here this week.”

Interesting...Kentucky has scored over 30 3 times this season. 45 against UL-Monroe, 42 against LSU, and 35 against Missouri...Tennessee has only failed to score 32 points 3 times, 26 against Ole Miss, 24 at Bama, 14 at Florida.

I don't believe Kentucky as banged up as they are will be able to score 30+ on our defense that's gotten healthy on the bye week. But I guess we shall see.

This team/schemes are way more fun to watch even in loses than Pruitt, Dooley and mostly of Butch Jones. Half of 2016 was fun.
I never thought that first half of 16 was "fun"...I thought we were doomed as the defense sucked worse and worse as the injuries piled up in epic fashion. It was clear to anybody that knows football during the Appy St game that the team had major issues and was going to have major problems during the year. Our wealth of offensive skill position talent blinded a lot of people.

Imagine what Heupel and his crew could have done with that roster...

SEC East champs, and gives Alabama a serious run for its money in the SECCG. Alabama did allow yards and points to most of the good offenses they played that year.

nope, we decided to waste a first on a DB that will never be healthy and an OL that will never see the field again....
Can you tell me the numbers for tomorrow's lottery since you can see the future? Or at least tell me whether or not we keep it close against UGA next week so I don't waste my time....

If Evans or Small either is basically 100% then I like our chances.

With Cade it just puts it over the top. Dayne has looked better though the more he's played. Cooper being back and having the original interior guys starting is huge for us.

Honestly the most important guys we need full strength is on the DL. The more of them that are healthy and ready to go the better we'll play. Kentucky will try to run it early and often and stuffing their rushing attack will be crucial to wearing down their defense.

I think we only lose maybe one game that year with Banks coaching that defense and our current S&C program.

Maybe could have won it all.

So I saw where Cade has been practicing/participating in Cardio--- so folks think he will most likely play this weekend, or is it still day to day? We really need him. You get Cade, Evans, Simmons, and a few others back and we are good to go...

Nobody can get lazy...it happened to Fulmer.
Somebody mentioned in another thread that Patterson made a point once that he didn't recruit outside of DFW, because he didn't really think he had to, and he said he'd only spent 3 nights in hotel over the last year. The program was humming at that time so you didn't think much of it, but you wonder if that caught up to him.
