One of my buddies good friends is serving twenty years in prison for drunk driving and killing a child. He deserves every second in prison. If Riggs killed someone, I hope he gets a lot of prison time.Yeah, he's looking at several years in prison. . . I knew a guy charged with felony death by motor vehicle, ended up with 15years. . . really, should've been much more, imo. Out having a good time and decide to drive drunk and this happens. Changes a lot of lives instantly and could be avoided so easily. What's an uber cost these days and how hard is it to get one? If I go out to drink, I have an uber pick me up. Cost me $100 for 2 riders for the whole night and several different bars.
I believe it’s technically @InVOLuntary manslaughter…the vehicular manslaughter charge is coming soon on this one right?
Ruggs should go to jail for a long time. Awful decision and someone's family had to die because of selfish, irresponsible behaviorOne of my buddies good friends is serving twenty years in prison for drunk driving and killing a child. It is not involuntary manslaughter when paired with a DUI.I believe it’s technically @InVOLuntary manslaughter…
I’m all seriousness, He’s 22, prolly 5-8 year sentence and out in a few on good behavior. This is a really tricky one IMO, happens to a lot of good people that make a bad decision, one that many people make and fortunately it turns out ok until it doesn’t…
It is not involuntary manslaughter when paired with a DUI.
"The charge for DUI causing substantial bodily harm or death is a category “B” Felony, which is the second most severe level of Felony in Nevada law. In this instance, such a crime is punishable by imprisonment in Nevada State Prison system for a minimum term of 2 years and a maximum term 20 years. It also carries a fine of between $2,000.00 to $5,000.00. More importantly, DUI causing substantial bodily harm or death is a non-probational offense, meaning if you are convicted, you must go to prison." ~Nevada
