I always thought he should have. He also made it worse by being busted for DUI again, albeit several years after his DUI that killed someone. It's like he didn't even learn his lesson. So no one going to question why Leonard Little didn't do jail time...guess since he's a VFL we have different standards?
I think it's awful and Ruggs' behavior is inexcusable. But he's also a high profile millionaire, I'll be absolutely shocked if he does any jail time. Cause sadly that's how messed up our justice system is.
Interesting...Kentucky has scored over 30 3 times this season. 45 against UL-Monroe, 42 against LSU, and 35 against Missouri...Tennessee has only failed to score 32 points 3 times, 26 against Ole Miss, 24 at Bama, 14 at Florida.
I don't believe Kentucky as banged up as they are will be able to score 30+ on our defense that's gotten healthy on the bye week. But I guess we shall see.
Goodrich got several years in prison IIRC. But his was a hit & run.Maybe...only happened to 4 other NFL players that I can find.
Josh Brent - Intoxication manslaughter
Michael Floyd - Extreme DUI
Leonard Little - Involuntary manslaughter
Donte Stallworth - DUI manslaughter
Max time in jail was 180 days by Josh Brent, the others did 30 days or less and most their punishment was related to house arrest or probation and community service.
Edit: Also it appears Brent had previously served time for a DUI.
Shouldn’t TCU be worried about integrity, honor and getting blasted by the NCAA? I mean many in here have said Freeze will bring nothing but trouble anywhere he goes.
Dwayne Goodrich served time for his crimeSo no one going to question why Leonard Little didn't do jail time...guess since he's a VFL we have different standards?

They should get at least five years for killing someone while drive drunk...also your drunk pedestrian comment makes zero sense.
he didnt let him go. he went to maryland. Why Butch let Dave Lawson go will always puzzle me. Surprised he isn't somewhere besides ETSU. I'd take him back in a heartbeat if Schmidt were to leave for another opportunity. Hopefully not though. Heupel seems to have brought a top notch strength, conditioning, and nutrition staff to Knoxville.
