I hope they are stupid enough to turn on Stoops...we will go from winning by three points to winning by three TDs like we did before.Honestly after watching his presser, I like him. He didn't make excuses. He broke down the issues well. He has made Kentucky football relevant.
I will say though, with a school like that you need a coach like ours that can scheme you wins. Future is bright. I hope Hype can keep his staff together. If so Tennessee football is going to be so much fun to watch.
Also the defense is allowed to get stops. We want to blame the offense for scoring too quick. But you get a few 3 and outs in the 1st half and we blow Kentuckys doors off.
I think the 3rd drive fumble is what allowed Kentucky to stay in the game. I have no doubt in my mind that we were about to score there. An early 21-7 lead puts enough stress on the Kentucky offense to lead to them committing even more mistakes. Also the defense is allowed to get stops. There were some play calls that had me scratching my head (aka screaming at the TV), but for the most part last night’s issues were players not wrapping up on their tackles and sometimes not being aggressive getting to the ball.Banks has to be more aggressive. I blame it more on his play calling last night than the players on defense. Our safeties are still slaw.
View attachment 409804It’s victory Sunday…… Go Vols! This is my girl Harley.
They have forty years of frustration backed up in them...and then they finally win one at Neyland and get pumped up by every media hack out there in pre-season, only to have us come in and destroy their hopes for a truly great season. That was my experience when I went in 2015. In the stands folks were nice and playful then disappointed when the Vols pulled away. Pregame and postgame in the parking lot the clearly well-off folks were drunk and hostile.
I've been to LSU games as an opposing fan and have been welcomed to tailgates by strangers to enjoy food and talk smack. Not Kentucky, those folks were absolute dicks.
Beasley missed many tackles. He arms tackles too much and C. Rod ran through them. Banks continues to improve and 2 more portal lb's are needed. There were some play calls that had me scratching my head (aka screaming at the TV), but for the most part last night’s issues were players not wrapping up on their tackles and sometimes not being aggressive getting to the ball.
Wheres the deer?I fill so freaking good this morning. Braves win the WS. VOLS take down the pussy cats. Im handing out likes, like Oprah handing out cars.. And such a beautiful morning.
For all you peeps still being negative about the game. STFU and enjoy that win. VOL football is so fun to watch again.

I'll be honest, she about drove me to a mental breakdown at some point during the broadcast.Beth Mowins “Tennessee needs another 52 plays to tie Kentucky” probably. I was so tired of the hearing TOP or the number of plays difference in that game.
It’s great to have a QB that can actually hit a receiver in stride. Really need him to back to help with this rebuild.
Need to get this running back room more depth or at least one that can stay healthy.
Defense just need some dudes and be a little more aggressive on 3rd downs. Our efficiency on 3rd is ridiculously terrible.
IIRC this guy is one of @Geaux_Vols acquaintances. He said the guy has a beef and is just trying to stir up trouble.He/she is an attention ho.. sad
