He was great first quarter and horrible from there on out...he got away from what he was doing and for some reason couldn't go back. I get that maybe their defense adjusted to try and take away the kind of throws he was completing in the first, but then WHY could not adjust to exploiting the middle of the field opportunities that ensued? They were there, and they were apparent to literally everyone except Joe for some reason..is he that blind? It was really vexing to Heupel so it is not just nit-picking.Did that one 5 yard pass from the back up qb impress you? If Milton doesn’t improve then we will move on to Hooker…. I don’t think JH will put with poor QB play….. after re-watching the game…. I don’t think Milton played as poorly as I originally thought but he still has a lot to prove this Saturday.
There are more examples of guys waiting behind non-NFL talent and becoming solid players than superstars who came in and started on day one.Them being veterans shouldn’t matter. The big time QBs separate themselves almost as soon as they step on campus. Just how it is. Not like he’s getting beat out by NFL QBs and waiting his turn
And he got better the more he played despite the bullTrue. People forget he is in essence a red shirt freshman. He missed all of spring 2020 camp due to the shut down and was out pretty much all of camp last fall due to Covid. After the season was lost he did get some live game action. And then had to start over with an entirely new staff and system. His time will come.
I didn't turn on anyone just speaking the truth. The other two didn't really get any playing time so technically Milton played worse...So tired of our fans can’t we just allow the coaches to do their job before we start turning on players in the FIRST game…
Grabbed this one the other week and wore it Thursday night for the game. It’s obviously lucky now and I can’t not wear it on game day.

You're opinion on this means nothing to me, you hated getting the kid from the beginning because you wanted a quick twitch dual threat guy. Peyton..you know..the at least second best QB of all time...didn't exactly separate himself from the pack either. I remember that clearly. If it was left up to your ideal QB he would have never stepped on the field.Them being veterans shouldn’t matter. The big time QBs separate themselves almost as soon as they step on campus. Just how it is. Not like he’s getting beat out by NFL QBs and waiting his turn
