Who's Payton? You're opinion on this means nothing to me, you hated getting the kid from the beginning because you wanted a quick twitch dual threat guy. Payton..you know..the at least second best QB of all time...didn't exactly separate himself from the pack either. I remember that clearly. If it was left up to your ideal QB he would have never stepped on the field.
I thought the adjustment made to the running game in the second half was to use a little more subtle misdirection. One thing we saw none of out of the offense Thursday was misdirection plays. BG used it a lot in the second quarter and had success. I'm gonna hope it was just conservative play calling. I want to see it against Pitt.
No you are speaking your truth, meaning you could be right but most ppl with knowledge of the game know that one game in a new offense is not a good determination of truth…I didn't turn on anyone just speaking the truth. The other two didn't really get any playing time so technically Milton played worse...
Also we have been letting the coaches do their job for over 15 years now and here we are.
I doubt Milton is THAT solidified as the starter. I'd be more concerned that HB is 3rd string, if I were really hoping HB plays.I dont think HB ever gets a chance unless injuries happen. Milton will probably start for 2 years, and that gives Jackson a RS year. Jackson is JH's guy so he will probably get the nod when Milton is gone unless we get a transfer. There just isn't a path to playing time for Bailey

I mean you have two staffs now that are telling you that he’s 3rd best in QB rooms that are less than ideal.
Does the banshee scream for brown buffalo meat?If HB goes Ty Simpson could come back.....or not. If anyone watched the FSU and ND you saw the Milton kid make an unbelievable return and almost win the game. His QB coach was JH when they were at UCF. Just looking at who JH has coached and what they have done and can do should give us all some comfort in the fact that he knows what he is doing. We all just need to relax because the instant fix we have all desired for the past several years is not there. Lets try and enjoy the process of getting back on top again.....I FOUND A PENNY !!!!!! HAPPY DAY'S FOR SURE.....the worm has turned my friends......yes indeed, it has turned.
Yeah our offense was even worse once he entered, couldn't score but 19 points outside of a HS Vandy team. 3rd down% was worse, took a league-high sack rate, too many intercetpable passes, a fumble/game, etc. He can develop and he will, but he didn't win over any minds last year, that much seems obvious. Though he did beat out Maurer. I'd look toward next year for a possible breakout season. He may be behind rn, but to 4th+ year guys. They are similarly talented QBs. HB just needs the time like they have been afforded. He did not do good last year…. He is unproven like the rest.
I think he’s 3rd solely on mobility compared to the other 2 qb’s. sprinkle in his throwing mechanics as well but in all honesty that makes zero sense because JH wants his qb to have a deep ball with a strong accurate arm.Bailey is pretty accurate that I can recall.he also made good decisions when pressure was on him in the pocket.which is a difference maker in a tight game.
